Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cavtat

We spent a lovely week at the beautiful River House, it is in a great location and in beautiful surroundings. Katarina was a wonderful host providing clear and timely communications, keeping in touch throughout. We were spoilt by mum who lives nearby bringing treats. I would highly recommend River House as a home from home in Mlini.

Stayed here for 11 nights in May 2025, highlight was the beautiful green patio area. Everything we needed for the stay was catered for. Great central location. Iris was at hand for any questions/information we needed. Everything was as described. Thank you Iris!! 😊

An absolute gem Airbnb in Cavtat! A superbly appointed 2 storey apartment with two bedrooms. We sat regularly on the private terrace adjacent to the apartment with stunning views over the bay. The location is harbour side, close to restaurants including Mislav’s just 50 metres from our front door. We highly recommend you take some meals there as the seafood is delicious and so fresh! Beautiful walks, swimming spots nearby, regular ferry service to Dubrovnik worth a day. And numerous more aquatic activities on the doorstep. We would highly recommend this superb apartment. Looking forward to a return soon we hope :-D

The view is a 15/10 and Irena was a great hostess! She was very proactive and took great care of me when I got sick. She made an extra trip with linens and had plenty of suggestions on where to get additional supplies. Even before I felt up for leaving the apartment, the view was healing in and of itself! Irena was also immediately helpful (at 10:30 at night!) in getting on the phone with the internet provider to reset the WiFi after a brief power outage that affected the entire bay. She got us up and running in just a few minutes! So grateful we stayed here!

Vi nød opholdet hos familien, og fortrød vi ikke havde booket flere dage, for der var hyggeligt i lejligheden, og masser af oplevelser indenfor køreafstand. Lejlighedens terrasse havde en pragtfuld udsigt over havet, så der nød vi vores måltider. På andendagen, da vi kom hjem om aftenen, slap vores hund ud af døren uden at vi havde set det - den havde opdaget en kat og løb efter den, også selvom katten forsvandt op af en udvendig trappe og op på taget, så pludselig var vores hund landet på taget uden at kunne komme ned igen. Værtinden hjalp med at lede, og heldigvis opdagede hun hvor den var, så jeg kunne komme op og redde den ned :-) Vi kommer med glæde igen en anden gang.

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Great communication, super clean apartment with all essentials for actually cooking for yourself and v comfy bed. Felt v safe as a solo traveller. Incredible views, lovely local walks with more gorgeous views. Loved taking the kayak out and enjoying the crystal clear water. It was super quiet when I went, imagine it's a little busier in summer. Darko and family very welcoming, I'd love to go back one day.

Nautimme viikon kesäasunnosta, omasta rannasta ja kauniista kukkivien pensaiden ympäröimästä pihasta. Erittäin hyvä kohde majoittua lämpimään vuodenaikaan. En tiedä mikä olisi ollut parempi paikka meille, kaksi teini-ikäistä, kaksi senioria ja kaksi keski-ikäistä. Lauttayhteydet toimivat Cavtatiin ja Dubrovnikiin, samoin über kuljetus. Meillä oli vuokra-auto, mutta sesonkiaikana parkkipaikkojen löytäminen on haastavaa ja siksi julkinen liikenne suositeltava tapa liikkua. Rantaa pitkin kulkevan kolmen sadan metrin kävelyreitin kautta pääsee talolle, joten liikuntarajoitteisille paikka on ehkä hieman haastava. Marko on avulias ja ystävällinen majoittaja, joka piti huolen että mitään ei puuttunut ja avusti laukkujen kanssa. Viereisen hotellin uima-allaskin olisi ollut käytössä. Meille riitti meri, snorkkelit ja Markon kautta saatu Sublauta. Vahva suositus kohteelle!

We booked this beautiful place as a group of 4 for my husband's 40th birthday celebrations. Communication with Mato from start to finish was great, he was very responsive and even provided a complimentary bottle of fizz which was a really lovely touch. Location-wise, it felt private and had incredible views of Cavtat. I do feel like I should mention that it would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues as there are A LOT of steps and uneven ground. We were dropped off by taxi at Cavtat bus station and there's a short walk (no more than 10 mins) to get to Mato's place. The apartment itself is stunning, just like the photos. The beds were comfortable and the place was spotless. Fresh towels were provided during our stay and our bins were emptied. The outside space is gorgeous, we really enjoyed spending evenings in the hot tub overlooking the water. There are a few small jobs that need finishing off but it didn't bother us at all. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

We arrived late in the evening to stay overnight to catch a early afternoon flight. The place was 7mins from the airport as described. Stanka was available to check us in right away. We were extremely pleased with prestine clean condition of the apt exactly like the pictures. There was a welcome drink in the fridge for us. Very thoughtful. We had a good night sleep in a comfortable bed with clean linens. Definitely recommended and would stay there in future whenever we will visit Dubrovnik

Perfect location, very comfortable and clean, great to have the pool much welcomed after a day out. The hosts are so friendly and on hand if there’s anything you need. Can highly recommend

Couldn’t recommend Hilarije/ Marina’s apartment enough. Our second time to visit and can’t wait to go back already. Perfect location, lovely private veranda to sunbathe and relax on, literally a minute walk to the beach where there are a few bars and restaurants and only 10-15 mins scenic walk into the main area where there are loads of bars restaurants and scenic walks. The Perfect place for a stunning, relaxing break! A taxi was also organised for us to and from the airport which is only a 10 minutes drive away. Literally heaven in every sense of the word!

First, I would like to thank Sanja for her warm welcome and assistance, even helping us carry our luggage into the apartment. Secondly, I appreciate all the useful tips she provided, which we followed carefully, making our trip more enjoyable. As for the apartment, it was crystal clean, with new furniture arranged in a user-friendly manner. The apartment is situated high enough to offer a beautiful sea view from the balcony and is close to some good restaurants and a supermarket. All the necessary amenities for a comfobrtable stay were available. I would definitely recommend this apartment to any guest.

This is an excellent place, its luxurious, private and has excellent facilities and the view is stunning, we use dthe Gym, pools and Sauna which are all really great. The place is spotless, and Ivo and Minja are very helpful. If you are looking for an escapare for a few days to relax, then this is the place, 10 mins from the airport, amazing views over Mlini Bay, where there are restaurants and bars, and you can simply hop on a ferry which will take you to Dubrovnik Old Town in about 30 mins. locations also accessible if you interested in some road trips which we did to Bosnia and Montenegro - a great place, great hosts - Thank You - Noel & Caitriona !

Enjoyed our stay here! Very walkable to the town and restaurants. Spacious for our family of 5. Very pleased with how neat and tidy the home was. Hosts were very kind!

This place will stay with me for many years. I haven’t loved a stay like this since first experiencing cinque terre 15 years ago. The town is absolutely charming, and we loved both how walkable it was and how familiar it became after a week. The parking was incredibly convenient, especially for making day trips to nearby Dubrovnik, Bosnia and Montenegro. Ferries, beaches, shops and restaurants are just a walk away. We loved watching the planes overhead while sipping wine on the terrace. Ana and Stijepo offered us warmth and kindness reminiscent of travel from a bygone era, where people truly opened their homes and lives to travelers passing through. Our stay felt private but we knew they were there should we needed anything. I always struggle deciding whether to return to a place we enjoyed or to adventure somewhere new. But for Cavtat and this charming apt, I know with certainty that we absolutely will return.

The place was clean, well located & a respite from the hot, humid weather. Be prepared to climb a LOT of stairs, but this is true throughout Dubrovnik. Loved the garden & terrace… an escape inside the busy city walls!

Loved Marijana”s apartment, very homely , everything that you needed . The view is the best just unbelievable. Good 10-15 minute walk to the old town but a bus at the bottom of the stairs . A few stairs but keeps you fit . Thanks you so much for the stay

Die Wohnung war top. Wir konnten sogar ein wenig früher einchecken. Wohnung war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Uns wurden viele Dinge in der Wohnung zur Benutzen freigestellt und der Kühlschrank war mit wasser, wein und bier gefüllt. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Kommunikation auf bezüglich des Check-Outs ohne Probleme. Sehr lieber Umgang miteinander. Wohnung ist viele Treppenstufen von der Altstadt/dem neuen Hafen entfernt. Aber wir haben alles zu fuß gemacht und das war völlig okay. Preis-Leistung war definitiv sehr gut. Haben uns keine Sekunde geärgert diese Wohnung gewählt zu haben und freuen uns bald wiederzukommen.

Perfect location, great for 3 of us. Useful amenities. But what stood out were Iva’s detailed recommendations and Irina’s incredible helpfulness. Met us to guide us to place, showed us around the town and recommended places, even came back at 7:00am to help us catch an Uber when we left. The two sisters are absolutely wonderful.

Our stay was fabulous. We arrived earlier than the check in time and left far later than check out time due to our flight times and Ivana accommodated this without issue. I was celebrating a big birthday and my sister communicated with Ivana and I arrived to balloon’s and cake. A really lovely surprise. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and spacious. Other than heating the pool (didn’t stop my family but I really don’t like cold water), I cannot and would not alter a thing. Its views are stunning, and I would 100% recommend Ivana and her apartment.

Anita nous a très bien accueillies. Elle nous a fourni des instructions détaillées et claires; sans compter sa disponibilité en temps réel. Elle avait préparé le divan-lit avant notre arrivée. Elle est une hôte attentive. Le logement est particulièrement bien situé et facile d’accès. Situé dans un secteur animé, il est assez bien insonorisé. La cuisine est bien équipée. Nous recommandons cet endroit charmant.

Dubrovnik is beautiful and so is Luko’s place. The view from the balcony is the highlight. The house is spacious and clean. I especially like the decor it has personal touches, from the wall paintings to the vintage cameras. There is a cafe & supermarket nearby. Although it’s quite a walk to and from the old town but we didn’t mind as we enjoyed our morning and afternoon walks looking at houses & the neighborhood. Highly recommend.
