my wife found it to be a cute space that was plenty spacious for our family, and provided lovely views of the castle. we wish we had more time! the back patio is not to be missed, staring up at the castle in the backyard feels exhilarating in a medieval kind of way! I wish I had had a minute to grill out and enjoy a meal on the patio! it is just a quick three or four minute walk up to the castle.

We had a very pleasant stay with friends in Emilie's house. Our host welcomed us warmly… showed us around the house and was discreet throughout the stay but very responsive to our spontaneous requests. We recommend …. Very clean and very well-equipped house… It is the ideal place to spend a stay with family or friends in a quiet place but also close to amenities... And many visits to the surrounding area. The possibility of playing petanque, playing darts, or even playing volleyball in the pool with quality equipment enhance the stay of young and old... the living room and bedrooms equipped with televisions offer everyone the opportunity to relax in front of a movie, a mission or other... The plancha corner and its facilities are perfect for pleasant moments shared over a drink. Really… everything is great…!!! We'll go back. Thank you Emilie

An absolutely perfect stay! The house is even more beautiful than in the photos: spacious, very clean and decorated with great taste. The cleanliness of the premises was impeccable, both inside and outside — a real comfort from the moment of arrival. We particularly loved the pool, super nice and perfectly maintained. We really enjoyed our stay in Christian's cottage. The setting is bucolic, a quiet and delightful place. Perfect for recharging, disconnecting, even with a dog (he loved frolicking). All 25 minutes' walk from the city of Carcassonne. Christian is a friendly and accommodating host. We'll be back.

Perfect little oasis of greenery in a quiet area, everything is well thought out, with quality services, very welcoming and available hosts while being discreet. Very well located for visiting the region and Luiza will be happy to advise you on activities and hikes from the cottage. Really nothing to complain about, we would have liked this stay to continue longer! Maybe next time...

What a great find! It’s a very charming place! You get the view of the castle from the window and from the patio as well. Well located close to restaurants and just 10 minute walk from the castle/old city. We drove with a car and the garage was right on premise (reserve a spot in advance!). Jean was very clear with instructions and very friendly. The listing is as described and pictured, we wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!
