Within walking distance are the well-known prehistoric grottoes where early humans left their mark. The mediaeval towns such as Figeac, Villeneuve d'Aveyron and Villefranche de Rouergue, Conques, Rocamadour and St Cyr Lapopie are within an hour's drive.
