Chalet holiday rentals in Catania

We were on a trip across the Amalfi Coast, with this as a stop on the way to Capri. It was a great choice! The place is simple but fully functional. It has a little bar for the breakfast, and plenty of parking for the car (although be aware, it's tough to get through!). Most importantly, we woke up and had this wonderful terrace on the cliff, facing the Vesuvius, right out the doorstep. This was absolutely the best perk!

We had a few nice days in the cottage. It is simpel but clean and well organized. The host was easy to contact and very helpfull to come along when we had problems switching on the fireplace. All in all recommendable.

(English translation below) Monica and her husband Salvatore were great hosts, extremely helpful and helpful. They gave us a warm welcome (and even gave us typical sweets of a local bakery) and were very flexible with check-in and check-out. My wife and I only stayed with them one night, but we would have wanted to stay longer for several reasons: first of all for the extremely beautiful and quiet location, surrounded by wonderful nature. The house is surrounded by an orchard with apples, pears and plums (and other fruit trees), so we could enjoy excellent fruit, perfectly ripe, freshly picked. Our stay was very pleasant. The chalet has all the amenities for a comfortable stay, including an outdoor patio overlooking the orchard, a loft with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Another advantage is that the chalet is quite high (about 1300 meters above sea level), so the temperature was lovely despite the heat of the Sicilian summer. This is the ideal spot from which to explore the gorgeous Mt. Etna and the neighbouring towns.

We had an excellent stay in this beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment with amenities that exceeded our expectations. The neat and bright kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was big and clean. We enjoyed spending time on the balcony and parking was always available. There is a grocery store not far away. Communication with the hosts was delightful. We would definitely return when we're in the area. Grazie Luca e Federica!

We were two couples staying at the apartment in mid October. It had everything we needed and was in a great location, only 8 minutes' walk from the beach, plus close enough for a stroll into the delightful town of Marzamemi. Both bedrooms were comfortable and spacious as was the whole apartment (over two floors). The bonus of a small swimming pool was an added luxury. Communication was excellent, with Maria being around when we arrived and when we left, and Ersilia easily reachable by text or phone. They were also flexible with our arrival time as the apartment was ready in advance. I would highly recommened Isula Travel and this wonderful property.

Great Host, very responsive, went out of his way to help us, kind, friendly and has a nice peaceful please in the woods. Nice cabin feel. Very nice getaway, both for a couple or for a small family. Highly recommended

We spent 5 quiet and beautiful days in the beach house of Teo. He provided us with excursion and restaurant tips from the first day and was always interested in whether everything was okay with us. We can recommend the beach house to anyone who wants to be by the sea and fresh air. However, the house is so remote that you absolutely need a car. Neither shopping nor a restaurant are within walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay in this calm environment with an impressive view on the Mediterranean and the hilly landscape surrounding the house. Dorotea and her family were open, friendly and welcoming and gave good recommendations. We even had the opportunity to get a rich and delicious meal prepared by Doroteas husband with local ingredients and home made limoncello. Cilento as a region was a new discovery for us and we were amazed by the landscape, the historical sights, the food and the views from hills and at the sea. Fully recommended.
