Charle Sue’s place is exactly as described. The location is in the mountains about 15 minutes away from Montego Bay. It is in the middle of paradise. Charle Sue is a great host. She is very attentive without being over bearing. The room is exactly as pictured. It is perfect for a short stay or great for longer stays for digital nomads. It is perfectly peaceful. There are various transportation options to get up and down the mountain including Uber. You just have to be patient and plan about 40 minutes in advance.

It was absolutely a pleasure to stay here. The house was beautiful and neat, surrounded by lovely birds and some fruit trees (mangoes and coconut. It was breezy at night which was so refreshing. The backyard was inviting and a relaxing place to hang out in the hammock or have coffee under the cherry tree. They really considered everything a guest might need even down to beach towels to borrow. They were generous, kind and helpful hosts. We will definitely be staying here again.

Love love love the place. My new wife and I wanted a chance to be in Jamaica away from all the touristy areas. The seclusion and beauty made the 2 1/2 hour trip from the airport way worth it! Definitely take time to explore the waterfalls up the river from the place. We would heartily recommend!

This is my second time staying on the Animal Farm and it did not disappoint! Geoffrey and his space are very hospitable and welcoming, making living in the countryside a breeze. Make sure to grab some foods on the way so that you can cook in the kitchen with a stellar view and don’t forget to bring your bird watchers because the amount of hummingbirds you’ll see is mind blowing. Nothing but amazing things to say about this paradise! I will absolutely be back!
