This is near the harbour, you can get cruise ride from walkable distance. Once you get scooters the it is very easy to roam around. main area are just 2-3 KM. Cat ba is very peaceful.

Absolutely incredible villa! You get your own private pool, an outdoor sauna with showers, and four immaculate, identical rooms – each with its own ensuite (no room debates necessary!). The place is equipped with modern amenities, and the fridge comes fully stocked with cold drinks ready to go. The best surprise? A private karaoke room that's not shown in the photos – it quickly became a group favourite and added so much fun to our stay. To top it all off, the host connects you with a local driver who’ll take you to and from the main town and share his own recommendations. Huge shoutout to Heung – hands down the best driver in all of Cat Ba! Thank you for an unforgettable stay – we loved every minute of it!

What a delightful stay! The hosts are very friendly, they made us fresh breakfast and juice every day, and were very, very helpful in finding local tours and activities. Know that this is not on the beach, it is about a mile to the beach or a five minute drive. Also, it is a small hotel, not necessarily a private Airbnb- but the room was very nice and clean and cute. If you’re looking for a quaint, quiet, place in Cat ba, and to meet some wonderful people, this is an excellent option. We really enjoyed it 😁

The hosts are very nice, helpful and smiling. They take care of their guests. (For example, they offered to turn the air conditioning on in our rooms before we came home in the evening). On the other hand, the hotel is quite far from the center and the places to see on the island. So you have to consider renting scooters. In short, it's not luxurious, but it's more suitable for just sleeping and enjoying the island during the day. Thank you for these two nights 🫶🏻

I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend Minh Vui as a host! The apartment has an amazing view and is right next to the beach so perfect for sea swimming everyday. There is also a washing machine and hob so it is easy to be self-sufficient if you want but also loads of great food options around as recommended by the host! Minh Vui was really helpful and always responded quickly.

Nguyen was very responsive, had great recommendations, and helped every time we reached out. The property was even better than we expected with access to great views, restaurants, spas, bars, etc. Our experience was 10 times better given the experience and we were sad when we had to leave! 11/10 would recommend :)

Had a wonderful month at this place. I liked everything! There are many shops with everything you need and a lot of restaurants around. It's easy to find a taxi. The apartment is great for remote work. There is at least one desk that can be occupied by a laptop, and ultra high-speed internet. From the windows there is a beautiful view of the bay, the rocks can also be seen. The hostess carefully warned that most of the shops would be closed during the New Year's celebration, so we had the opportunity to buy groceries in advance. Thanks Giang for the hospitality ❤️

Chi'a place at A La Carte is exactly as advertised. It's a beautiful unit and building. There is a beach just outside the lobby with amenities available. If you're looking for a place to rejuvenate and relax outside the downtown area this one is highly recommended. Cabs are cheap or you can rent a car/scooter and park underground . Would highly recommend

Truly a rare sanctuary. Peaceful, immaculate, and intuitively designed for both rest and productivity. Yet the true treasure is Hang. Her quiet generosity, discreet attentiveness, and graceful spirit imbue the home with soul. Her husband, equally kind and humble, adds to the warmth of the home with his good humor and hospitality. What was meant as a brief stay became a deeply healing chapter of nearly three months. We left with full hearts, grateful for every breeze, every sunrise, and every gentle kindness. From the windows, you’re not just gazing at a view you’re witnessing the quiet majesty of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ha Long Bay stretches out like a living painting, shifting with light and mist in a way that never grows old. There’s even a fantastic restaurant right on the ground floor. Many of there dishes are beyond delicious and perfect after a long day of exploring. This is more than a home it is a haven for those seeking meaning, beauty, and connection. 100/5 stars.

This is the second time I'm staying at An An's place and it was just as splendid as the first time! An An is very quick to respond and helped us out with all our queries. The sunset views are incredible! Grab services very easily here since we found cabs easily and ordered our dinner via grab. My only regret is that we did not have time to use the pool this time!
