The stairs to the second bedroom are Santos Dumont stairs: sloping, with each step going back on the side that won't be used for the ascent). Grandparents' House for 8 people This house, representative of the local architecture of the late 1940s, was restored in 2012, safeguarding its original characteristics. It was intended as a farmhouse, with a wine cellar, courtyard and other annexes. It has a terrace with a water tank, where you can bathe, shower and a large garden with automatic watering.

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century.
