Nuno was a very helpful and communicative host. You can tell he cares a lot about the local community and area. The village itself was lovely.

We weren’t able to go and stay because of the corona virus, but Maria was helpful on the phone and hopefully and this craziness is over in the world so we can travel again. Airbnb is looking into reimbursements as well.

Excellent week spent at a very quiet and quint little house. Amazing service with breakfast delivered each day. Fantastic walks around the area with home grown veg and fruit plentyful. I Would recommend a stay here for peace and quiet.

Eric's place is a hidden gem, tucked away down a narrow lane in a tiny village. Very peaceful and quiet with a lovely view of the neighbors sheep pastures. It's beautiful outside and within. Spacious and modern inside with a wonderfully efficient wood stove that warms the home quickly. We stayed a week and didn't want to leave. it is just what we needed. The couple of small problems were addressed quickly via text or personally by his man Joao within an hour. Wonderful stay!

Host 5⭐️, great human being very considerate. There is a 4-legged companion who is impossible not to love, very sweet and is always looking for pampering. Fantastic place to connect with nature and enjoy a beautiful family holiday. I recommend the place and will be back next year. A good act for Mr. Luis .

Had a great stay! I can highly recommend it!

We are a couple with 2 children, a 6 year old and one with 3. We had a great weekend. The stay was exactly what we were looking for, a place in nature to wet your feet in the river, and see the stars at night. The tent is great and very comfortable. The shared kitchen also ended up making it easy to meet other guests and watch the children play while we chat with Dan or his wife, both very friendly and attentive. They made us feel at home from start to finish. Everything was as described, irregular dirt road to reach but nothing that a little care and patience does not overcome. We have a normal ride car and we were able to get there with no problems. Maybe with rain it might be more complicated, but it wasn't our case. I highly recommend it to someone who wants to have a real nature experience! We'll be back for sure!

I recommend visiting this space, an incredible location for star lovers like me. Sofia and André are excellent people, always with a smile to offer and make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sozen Mill! The house is very comfortable, with everything it takes to spend a good day and tastefully decorated. The place is very private and quiet and is right over a stream that flows into the Zêzere. Given the strength of the flow rate at this time of year, it was not possible to bathe. But the garden and the dining area allowed us to enjoy the outside well. Special note for Mariana, always very friendly and accessible. It was a surprise to see the fridge full of good things for breakfast/snack and get fresh bread every morning. By car, you can access amazing areas like the Fragas de São Simão. And we were able to bring our dog and take it for all the hikes 🐶 definitely from the best houses we've ever been!

In one word: marvelous. A small touristic village embedded in nature with lots of space for everyone (incl. our dog). Also all kinds of amenities available, like pool, hot tub, small spa, (surprisingly well equipped) gym, water activities and everything related to nature. Peter and Kate are really nice hosts with passion for their place. Perfect for a relaxing vacation in nature for the whole family. A+

The space is an authentic Eden in the heart of the lower edge, with spectacular views of the Serra da Estrela and Serra da Gardunha. If you want to see this wonderful landscape do not think twice, Elsa's space is without a doubt the best option :)

Really charming and peaceful place. Very spacious and easily kept warm by a fireplace with plenty of wood provided. Sandrine and Julien were extremely friendly, and has no problem when I caught an earlier train and asked to change my check-in. I was extremely happy with my stay.

Very beautiful space with pool, ideal for children. Although the host lives on top, we feel total privacy. we will return with pleasure.

A very quiet place perfect for taking a break during a hectic trip. Very nice well-equipped accommodation in the Portuguese countryside. I would recommend this place as a rest stop.

Very well located house. Apartments very well decorated and with everything you need to prepare a meal. Good spacious beds. Good bathrooms, very clean. Everything was spotless clean (even the kitchen wear). Amazing colective room, spacious and with kitchen wear more then enough for a group of 15. Beautiful gardens with a fantastic heated pool and a tranpolim. The hosts are very good people, with a warm heart, super helpfull and friendly! We loved out stay.

Very nice stay, between the stars and nature. The farm's loose animals confirm the expectation of freedom that we always have for the holidays and the comfort of the house reminds us of what is essential and what is accessory in life. Thank you Liesbet and João, for the beautiful place to get away and relax surrounded by animals and nature. No city lights so a great place for seeing the stars at night. Liesbet is a very gracious and helpful hostess, great communication. Enjoyed a fantastic horseback ride around the area lead by Joao, a magical ride! Far enough away for a few days or weeks of relaxation surrounded by nature, but it also allows you to do some sightseeing. In an hour drive you can be in Coímbra or Aveiro. Also, nearby you have all kinds of services like restaurants or supermarkets.

We had an awesome stay at Luis place. House is fully equipped with everything you need set in pristine surroundings with a beautiful views (worth waking up early for the sunrise!). Luis is a great guy and super helpful - we will be back again in the summer for sure.

We loved the stay, it is a place to breathe tranquility! It was great for kids playing in the street and in the pool area and we were even presented with fruit from the orchard season! the hosts are very considerate! it was wonderful!

Originally we were planning to go to Boom festival and were looking to rent a house nearby. It turned out that the house was much better than the festival. The property is authentic and beautiful. The house is full of history and every detail is so special. We really enjoyed our time inside and outside on the patio by the swimming pool. The kids were absolutely happy there! The kitchen is so well equipped. The living room area is stunning. The bedrooms are super comfy and the air conditioner did its job providing a refreshing coolness. Highly recommend to everyone! Thanks to to the super friendly and welcoming host!
