En Croustet is an old farmhouse which has kept it's traditional look while preparing a greener future, solar panels for electricity and hot water and a wood burning boiler. Our natural swimming pool is an integral part of the garden all year round . Situated in the foot hills of the "Montain Noire", facing south with the Pyrénées on the horizon, the large garden has barbecues, swings and a pond with fish and tadpoles. In between the two airports of Carcassonne(30Km) and Toulouse(50Km), it's an ideal base for visiting the Pays Cathar. This relaxing country location is an ideal center for walking, cycling or visiting places like Castelnaudary for the cassoulet, Carcassonne for the magnificent medieval city, and lake St.Ferreol source of the canal du midi and a summer time favorite for picnics and water sports. We have two gites, the "Mésanges" that can accommodate four people. And the "Loriots" accommodates for six people. They are both bright functional flats that we are sure will help you have a good break in this wonderful region

Come and discover the Lauragais and the surroundings between the Canal du Midi and the Toulouse region on one side about 50 minutes away and on the other Carcassonne with its superb city. Living room/kitchen on the ground floor then upstairs a transition room with a modular bed for 2 people, and a bedroom with bathroom and sink.

Quietly located, this two-bedroom apartment is very easy to access and will seduce you for your hikes and walks around Lake St Férreol, accessible in 5 minutes on foot. No smoking, but an outdoor area is available. Pets not allowed, thank you for your understanding. Our accommodation is equipped with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, as well as a kettle and a toaster. Each bedroom has a private shower room with toilet. The Canal du Midi with its basin, train station and shops are a 5-minute walk.
