Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cassowary

Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

Another brilliant stay at peaceful Coral Tides. This is our third and we live the accomodation so much. Everything is perfect including the setting, comfort snd presentation. The pool is a special bonus and hosts so welcoming. Thank you!

Erina's place is a beautiful 1 bedroom Villa, that has everything we needed for our stay. It was pretty convenient to shops and restaurants.

I really appreciated all the little touches of home that you have made throughout the house. I had the best sleep of my life with the fresh air and soothing sounds of the rainforest, and it was just lovely to feel so isolated yet a short drive from some great attractions in the Daintree. Also, I need to buy myself a hammock now! I could have stayed in that hammock on the verandah with the ocean view for days on end haha. Thank you again for providing a welcome escape to nature.

This home is the epitome of relaxation, style, and wow factor. It has absolutely everything you could need - all the simple touches that make it feel like a home away from home. A short walk from the local hot spots. A view from the backyard that will make you want to stay forever. So many spots to relax, sit back and unwind with the sound of the ocean right at your doorstep. Lovely hosts who shared all the important details. 10/10 ⭐️✨⭐️

We couldn’t have been more impressed with this beautiful house. It was exactly what we wanted and everything we needed was available / thought of. The house has so much character but is extremely practical at the same time. It was perfect for us as a group with a small child, as we could stay in the main house and leave the others who didn’t have to get up with the sun in peace while we clanged around in the kitchen. The pool and yard are beautiful and the deck was our favourite place to spend time. We haven’t stayed anywhere where we were so comfortable! The proximity to the beach is a bonus but everywhere in Port is close by so the locations is perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Tanya’s beautiful 4-bedroom home in Port Douglas! The house was spacious, perfect for our family of four (including two teenagers), with plenty of room for everyone to relax. Having two lounge areas was a bonus, and the kitchen was great—it had everything we needed to cook our own meals after long days out. The pool was a highlight! It was exactly like the photos—sparkling clean and so inviting. Tanya gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and local attractions, which we found really helpful. One of our favourite tips was to take a morning walk along the stunning 4 Mile Beach, just a short stroll down the street. The location was ideal, situated on a quiet street but only a 5-minute drive to town. We had a rental car, so it was easy to come and go, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a retreat. We recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-equipped home with a great pool in a quiet, convenient location. Thank you, Tanya.

We had a wonderful 6 nights enjoying a mother and teenage daughter get away. Beautifully appointed - had everything we needed. As an avid swimmer the pools were fabulous - each at least 75m wide and 25 m in width. No excuses not to swim daily. We made use of the scooters on site and also the shuttle bus service so even though we were a tad out of town we easily made it in on time to enjoy all of Port Douglas' amazing restaurants and the Marina. Kitchen facilities were great if you want to self cater, bedding and towels all clean, comfortable and stylish. Highly recommend - we will be back! Thank you Suzanne for a lovely stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent nine night stay at David and Morag's apartment. Apartment is spacious and well-equipped, bed is very comfy. Resort pools are great, our son lived in the Lagoon pool! Location is quiet, with easy beach access but still close to everything in Palm Cove. There was a wedding and no pre-warning from the Pullman this time, but having stayed before we knew to expect an event or two sometime during our stay, so noise did not bother us at all and finished by 10:30pm. Despite David and Morag being overseas at the time, all communication was still extremely timely and detailed. Thank you once again for accommodating our little family so well - we have loved the last three stays in your Pullman units and hopefully will be back again one day!

The apartment is as described - and more. The living area, bedrooms and kitchen were clean and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is nice and the double glazing helped eliminate any noise from the children enjoying the very, very large pool that winds throughout the resort. The winner for us was the large, private upper deck which featured the spa, sun lounge area, sitting / dining area and an outdoor kitchen with 'fridge, basin and BBQ. We made extensive use of the BBQ which had a backup gas bottle and a full set of implements. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and both glass and plastic glasses. While the apartment is a fair way out of the Port Douglas township, the local shuttle bus arrived quickly and dropped us wherever we wanted to go in town. The longest wait was 8 minutes and the return fare is a reasonable $15pp. The Pullman Sea Temple resort is showing its age although lots of cleaning and maintenance work was underway during our stay.

This is an excellent place to stay. The complex is very quiet. We were very close to the pool, so that made things very easy for us. Getting into town is a short drive. The accommodation is great, with a nice sized kitchen, great bedrooms and the flexibility of having upstairs and downstairs toilet and shower. Having the washer and dryer was also very handy. This is a great place and if it is available, I recommend that you book it - you won't be disappointed!

We bumped into the host when arriving at the property. She was extremely helpful, showed us to our apartment, have us a tour, got the keys for us and went above and beyond. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The place was very well equipped and overall we have a great time

unbelievable view and wonderful location for a short stay in and around cairns... will need a car to enjoy the surrounds. place was as advertised and hosts were amazing...responded and offered food choices for a handy breakfast to kick start the day's adventures...5 stars although cant comemnt on the pool as we didnt use it . it looked great, we were time poor this trip will be back highly recomended... thanks +

We had such a beautiful stay at Casa Papaya! We especially loved eating breakfast on the balcony, listening to the soft sounds of the cafe below, and watching Macrossan Street come to life. It had a very Mediterranean vibe! The apartment was clean, exactly as described and in such a great location - walking distance to beach, shops, wharf. Michela was very responsive and helpful with any queries we had. It was the perfect spot for our honeymoon! Can’t wait to stay again!

Beautiful location and easy access to the beach and local restaurants. This apartment is a private rental amongst a very large resort at Palm Cove, so can be a little noisy with families etc Kitchenette is on the small side but most people probably dine out at the numerous restaurants around the area. Also, the place is listed as 2 bedroom however, it is only a thin frosted plastic panel between the bedrooms that provides very little privacy. So I'd only recommend for very close friends or family.

I had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s apartment at 201 Lake Street, Cairns. The place was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing visit. It had everything I needed for a great stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The building also had a pool and secure parking, which were great bonuses. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Esplanade, restaurants, shops, and the marina. Andrea was very easy to deal with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.

A wonderful location, close to central Port Douglas. The apartment and pool area were exemplary and a beautiful environment to relax in. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in at an Air B&B. We would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay inside a good resort. Bec’s place was everything we expected, quiet room and location, good space, spa was great and shower had pressure like you never see. Would be back again no worries !

The apartment is fantastic, extremely clean and equipped with anything we needed. We particularly appreciated the Nespresso machine, and the pantry well stocked with Nespresso pods (our favourite flavours!). The building is clean and safe. Andrew has been a great host, and has been consistently in touch with us throughout our stay. He even offered us a late check out at no extra charge! We will definitely book this property again, should we come back to Cairns!

We stayed at the Resort for 6 months. During that time, we always felt comfortable and safe. Sandy and Isabell went out of their way to ensure that we were well looked after; for example, the fridge started playing up and was replaced immediately with a brand new one. The same happened with the washing machine and it too was immediately replaced with a brand-new model. Any queries we had were responded to immediately via the Airbnb message function and Isabell was kind enough to provide her personal mobile number to ensure easy and fast communications. The Resort is beautiful and has well-tended gardens and landscaping and numerous swimming pools. It was also very quiet and peaceful. :) The location of the Resort was ideal for us being close to the airport and a short drive to the CBD. It is also very close to the Botanic Gardens and the Cairns Esplanade. We would not hesitate to recommend the Resort as a beautiful location and Sandy & Isabell as perfect hosts.
