It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites. Entire accommodation "Le Gîte"

Our "Gîte" is located in Steenwerck, a small rural and peaceful town, ideally located between Bailleul and Armentières, along the Belgian border. The cottage has been refurbished to accommodate guests and workers to renovate and revitalize our former family farm. The accommodation is functional but still has some flaws; the profits contribute to its complete renovation as well as that of the rest of our farm.
