New in summer 2025! Your private 12’x 25’ pool in Blue Turtle’s backyard. We are in the Chicahauk subdivision of Southern Shores. Also, big 15’x 36’ heated pool next door at our residence, shared with us at times. In 2026, pools will be open 4/10-10/10. Hot tub at Blue Turtle is on second deck, and not shared. Only 10-15 minute walk to Skyline Beach , or 5 minutes drive to the Chicahauk Beach. Easy traffic -free access to nearby shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Dog and family friendly.

La Vida Island Guesthouse

La Vida Isla is a quiet, shady retreat from the beach. This is a place to unwind and relax. We are in a safe neighborhood on Roanoke Island. The cottage is an airy and calming space. The Live Oak Cottage is a beautiful guest house situated under sprawling live oak trees. The suite and main house was originally a US Coast Guard Lifesaving Station built in 1901 - and moved to its current location in the 60s. The suite has been restored to bring it up to date with modern amenities, while retaining its rustic charm. A kitchenette, with fridge, toaster, plug in cook top + more. Sit back and relax on your private deck with a grill or walk to the beach in just 5 minutes.

Sportsman's Paradise is just minutes away from the Currituck Sound which is famous for it's duck hunting and fishing. It overlooks Tull's Bay and Tull's Creek and is surrounded by the Northwest River Marsh Game Lands. The kitchen and living room have 9 windows so you can look out three sides of the house at the water. The walls are old rough cut boards and the ceilings are plywood. The living room and bedrooms are carpeted and the bathrooms and kitchen are laminate wood floor.
