Beachfront holiday rental in Carmet

There was no one around during our stay. Had deer in the backyard along with a little fox friend. Very relaxing and much needed break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at your home. The house was well appointed and had everything that we needed/wanted. The setting was gorgeous. We loved getting to view wildlife right from the house and take in the beautiful views. The host was very responsive and sent helpful messages with information in anticipation to our arrival and departure. We definitely look forward to returning!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It was serene, green and peaceful. It was a cosy log cabin with the feel of yesterday years with its vintage gadgets. We loved it and spend a relaxing weekend there. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a calming peaceful time on the banks of the Russian river. Jennifer is a great host.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The house was beautiful and a restful place away from the city. I agree with other reviews and it was super clean. My small family thoroughly enjoyed the house and its proximity to hiking trails and Healdsburg downtown.

We were looking for a peaceful spot to spend my birthday with our dogs and Toni’s place did not disappoint! The hot tub on the deck was perfect and the gated deck was great peace of mind for us to let our dogs relax outside without worry while we soaked. It was a bit too chilly for any real river time but Toni made sure we had access to it after a tree had fallen onto her typical path, which was very thoughtful. We’ll definitely be back!

Staying here was awesome. A quick phone call with Ben, who was great, got us straightened out for the weekend. Very peaceful, clear instructions for how to use things, and the pinball is a blast!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming carriage house with our family of four. The place is set in a beautiful area —location is great for nearby hiking adventures. The interior design is stylish yet cozy, making it feel like a home away from home, and the private dock adds a unique touch to the waterfront vibe. Overall, a great spot to relax, explore, and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

Lovely home and huge! They had a good stereo but didn’t have the right connections for our phones, and had no way to listen to music. Vacasa office told us that we didn’t need to pick up the packet- which we appreciated because we were late - but then we discovered we had to have parking passes or they would boot our car until we paid cash for the fine. Would be easier to put parking passes in the house.

House was great - this is our second time staying here so we obviously like it a lot. Everything was what we expected and the area is one of my favorites on the coast. The only thing I would ask that they update/install are better curtains for the windows in the bedrooms - up to par with normal hotel curtains - options for blackout, easy to operate, etc. The way the house is designed, there are many windows that either don't have curtains, or have curtains but are older blinds that are hard to operate and don't offer any light protection. I'd also love to be able to call the local Vacasa office if we have issues (normally we are directed to a foreign call center). Other than this, we loved our stay and would be back. Holly, the local Vacasa office manager, is lovely!

Beautiful home perfectly situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. Gorgeous ocean views with a lovely deck with dining table and outdoor seating area with gas fireplace. Spacious kitchen and living room - plenty of space for our family with two young kids.

This was a wonderful property.! The house was very clean, furnishings newer and comfortable and the place is well decorated, together with many essential amenities. Nightlights in each of the 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms and hallways were very useful. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Oceanview was nice, close to the bluff and walking trail. Surrounding areas were very tranquil and private - exactly what we go to Sea Ranch for. Host was very generous in letting us check-in at noon, given the property was clean and ready for us. Overall a fantastic experience and we would definitively book the property again. Some minor suggestions for improvement: Replace current kitchen knives with some that are usable - the current ones are no good. Remote for ceiling fan above dining room doesn’t work. Replace current non-functional flash light with a rechargeable one. A couple of boxes of facial tissues in the house would be nice to have and some aluminum foil for baking.

Beautiful and super clean house in the magical woods. We loved the window seats everywhere and watching the deer visit every day. The beds are very comfy and towels plush. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub under the stars. Some aspects of the house are a little more rustic than modern, but still very comfortable and cozy. The owner is super responsive and thoughtful and obviously cares a lot about her home.

Stunning property with ocean views from the living room. This classic Sea Ranch architecture is beautifully complemented by tasteful decor and a well-stocked kitchen. We truly felt at home and had a wonderful time. Willa and Craig were fantastic hosts—providing clear directions, helpful local tips, and being readily available if we needed anything. We’d love to return!

It was such a wonderful girls weekend away in Bodega Bay. The place has the most beautiful views and it is a short walk to the beach. Everything in the house was nice and in order and the hot tub was amazing. The views and location are hard to beat! I hope to be back.

This is a fantastic place for a weekend to explore the surroundings. We came with a big family (Grandfather, 2 siblings and their S.Os, and 3 grandkids) and felt right at home. We used this place as a home base to explore the area, hiking around Jenner, wineries, the Russian River, and Bodega Bay itself. Kids loved opening up the back porch and just walking to the beach over the dunes (adults loved it as well). Hosts were responsive and polite throughout - easy and clear check in. And Jacuzzi to relax in after the hikes :). Kitchen is great - fully stocked with everything we needed (we bought fresh fish from the local fish market and cooked at home every night). Highly recommend for a family looking to get away and relax and spend a few days at a slower pace.

This is a beautiful house that my family thoroughly enjoyed staying in! Our stay was effortless and extremely comfortable. The surrounding property is amazing, with gorgeous views and landscapes. Location worked perfectly for us as we wanted to see Napa, Sonoma and redwoods. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay Bodega Bay.

We had a lovely stay at the Vacasa Bodega Bay house, check in was easy and the house had plenty of room for our group. We did have toddlers and there are a lot of stairs in the house - something to be aware of with young children or folks with mobility issues. The house was clean, and had a beautiful ocean view. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and was an easy walk to the beach. We also walked to the Pinnacle Gulch trail and hiked to Pinnacle Rock beach which was really fun, and great for families, lots of fun tide pools at the beach. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing and watching the stars in the evening. I would stay again and recommend as a relaxing vacation spot.

Our family of three had the most incredible stay at this oceanfront home! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere. The location couldn’t have been more perfect – just steps from the beach, allowing us to enjoy early morning walks and sunsets right outside our door. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The open layout was perfect for spending quality time together, and there was plenty of space for each of us to have a little privacy when needed.

The place was an oasis away from the busyness of life. My wife did not want to go anywhere during the day. She and the family loved it! We hope to return soon.
