Amy and Kevin were absolutely wonderful! It was so nice to get out of the city and stay in such a beautiful cabin. It has a rustic feel while having all of the amenities and conveniences that you are looking for. Amy and Kevin are also such wonderful people they made sure that the trip was easy and fun and responded immediately anytime I had a question. The area was private but also close to a bunch of great restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

This is a gorgeous guest house with a lovely view of the lake. Didn’t get to try the sauna but appreciated that it was available all hours. Shower and bed were nice! We traveled here on bike while going from Poughkeepsie to NYC on the Empire State Trail. The house is close to the trail and they gave us good bike directions. Great place to stop to split up the 100 mile journey - right in the middle!

I had a wonderful stay! The property is in a beautiful, peaceful area—quiet and spacious, with plenty of room to walk around without ever needing to leave. The lake view was stunning, especially in the mornings, and I loved enjoying it from the cozy sunroom. The space was the perfect size for my two dogs and me. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches for pups—dog beds, treats, paw cleaning wipes, and extra waste bags were all provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were super comfortable—the bed and furniture made it easy to relax, and the overall vibe of the place was incredibly welcoming. Even my normally anxious dogs felt at ease almost immediately, which says a lot! Highly recommend for anyone traveling with dogs or just looking for a peaceful getaway.

My stay at the cottage was absolutely wonderful. Ftom the moment I arrived, Oretes went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and my stay comfortable. He helped me with my luggage, which was thoughtful and a welcoming gesture. The breakfast on the morning of my stay was a delightful touch. The place itself was clean, cozy and exactly as described. I truly appreciated Orestes hospitality and attention to detail (especially my dietary needs). I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!
