Gorgeous little apartment, easy drive to the beach, downtown, or the Mission, but still very quiet. We were very happy with our stay. Note that the bedroom ceiling is quite low - I am 5’ 6” and had to be careful, but I didn’t think it was a nuisance. Would overall recommend and stay again. Thank you Lisa!

Barefoot Comfort in Carmel - Steps to Town & Beach

I can not say enough about how much my husband and I enjoyed staying at this quaint Carmel cottage. We spent a little over a month here and it really was our home away from home. We arrived to a lovely surprise of wine ,cheese ,crackers and chocolate along with 2x Monterey Aquarium passes waiting for us. Barry also let us use his Safeway card which was very much appreciated ( it saved us money when buying our groceries. ) The cottage is in a perfect location, my husband and I would often walk to town and the beach, and yet is set back enough to feel peaceful and quiet. Barry couldn’t have been more helpful, he was always quick to respond should we have any questions, he even stopped by half way through our stay with another box of chocolates from a local shop in town! I am going to miss this cottage, and I am already planning our visit for next year. Thank you Barry!

Glamping cabin was cool to experience. We came for new years and the cabin was very close to the beach and downtown Carmel with all the shops and restaurants. The A/C and heater worked great during the night to keep the cabin nice and warm. Check in was smooth and check out was smooth as well. Bed was comfy and space was very clean.

This is a beautiful place to stay. It’s secluded and quiet with big windows with really pretty views. We did many Point Lobos hikes and sightseeing along the coast. We went to cute dinners, an orchestra, and the farmers market in downtown Carmel. The Airbnb is easy to drive to and easy to check into. Friendly Naomi and Anina are very helpful and can suggest the best activities. The Airbnb kitchen has just about everything you would need to cook nice meals and is kept at a comfortable temperature. We had a great stay thanks to Naomi!

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! The guesthouse was very close to both Monterey and Carmel, but far enough removed to be quiet and peaceful. It has a beautiful view from the balcony looking downhill and into the sea, and our host did an excellent job making us feel welcome.

The cottage was extremely cozy and comfortable for our family of 3 (with a 5 y/o kid). 5 minutes away from a gorgeous ocean with a little private lagoon, very friendly and clean neighborhood. It is really a gem! Carolyn was super nice, sending us local recommendations and tips about the place and surrounding areas. Totally looking forward to coming there again and recommending others to check this place out!
