Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Carlton County

We recently stayed at Henderson’s Lakeview in Moose Lake. The place is very well-maintained and has been recently updated. The living area is spacious with plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The house is a 3-bedroom, with the Master having an en suite bathroom, while the other two bedrooms share a bathroom with double sinks. There's also a ½ bath off the kitchen. The two TVs (one in the living room, the other in one of the guest bedrooms) are connected to streaming services via WiFi and the signal strength wasn’t strong enough to allow anything to stream effectively. Fortunately, after reaching out to our hosts, they quickly added a booster and resolved the issue. The only other item to note (and I’m hoping this gets corrected) is that there is no microwave. We didn’t notice this until we attempted to heat up some breakfast items we’d brought and weren’t able to. When we are in the area again we will definitely contact Staci and Brent to book again. Highly recommend.

This was our first trip to Duluth and this was a wonderful place to stay with our family of four. The house is beautiful and the location was the best of both worlds—private and peaceful on a river, but easy access to the city and great outdoor activities. The house has a great layout for families, a wonderful kitchen, and amazing outdoor spaces…especially the wood fire sauna overlooking the river!

We really loved Sarah’s cabin! We mentioned in our booking that we were celebrating a birthday, and when we checked in we found a personalized birthday card and candles for a cake on the table :) just a sweet, personal touch that made us smile. The kitchen is big and was great for cooking. The beds were super comfortable, and the whole place had great AC which was good for the hot weekend. We used the fire pit, hung out on the deck, and paddle boarded on the lake to our heart’s content. Highly reccomend a stay at Sarah’s cabin for a chill group weekend away! (“If we could give it 6 stars we would ;)” - the Birthday Girl)

There was a plumbing issue that when notified was handled quickly and with the concern needed for the situation.

A very spacious welcoming home. Well maintained and clean. Location to Jay Cooke state park is an added bonus. Good value for anybody looking for a comfortable environment to call homebase in the Duluth area.

Jacob's beautiful home was perfect for our large family. Our Hawaii themed birthday party was a hit and your home offered the ideal space for making lasting memories. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The location was also very convenient. It was just a few minutes away from the hockey rink where we enjoyed a fun filled tournament. We were happy with the local businesses in town providing our food, drinks, decor and cake. Thank you Jacob for the great hospitality! Our stay was special and memorable. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful place inside and out. Great outdoor spaces to relax or hike which ever you prefer. Check in and out were a breeze. Hosts were very responsive and we'll definitely stay again if in the Duluth area.

A truly magical escape! From the moment we stepped into this cabin, it felt like walking into a storybook. Every corner was full of love, thoughtfulness, and hidden treasures. It was like staying in a living museum—so many charming details to take in, quirky pieces to admire, and cozy nooks to explore. There was something new to appreciate each day. Our kids were absolutely enchanted! They spent hours playing with the games, LEGOs, army men, and other little gems tucked around the cabin. Their imaginations ran wild—and so did their energy (thankfully!). The surrounding nature was the perfect playground: long nature walks, climbing trees, watching birds and critters—it was nonstop adventure from sunrise to sunset. And after all that fun? The beds were like clouds. So comfortable, we all slept like logs every night. We are so grateful to have found this slice of magic and can’t wait to return. It’s more than a stay—it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

Jeff was very accommodating with any of our needs/requests, and the location was perfect for our trip requirements. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you may wish to do during your stay as well, removing the need to go out to eat if you wish to. My familey and I look forward to another stay here everytime we will be visiting in the area in the future!

One of the most well-stocked and beautifully maintained spaces we've ever stayed in. Sooo many thoughtful touches from snacks, to dog supplies, to all the extra blankets and towels you could ever need. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was such a delight!

Very nice clean cabin on a beautiful peaceful lake. Had all the needed convivences like Wi-Fi, TV, etc. with the rustic feel of a log lake cabin. Good fishing also! Tammie and Arron, were very nice responsive hosts!

We had a wonderful time at David's Airbnb. David met us outside, and welcomed us. The cottage was really lovely. It was clean, and nicely furnished, with a beautiful view of the lake. The beds were very comfortable. The weather was perfect, so we spent the evening sitting outside enjoying the view. I would love to stay again.
