Cottage holiday rentals in Carentan

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

Accueil très chaleureux de Michel et sa femme pour nous et notre chien. Petite maison très agréable et propre, dans un hameau calme avec une entrée individuelle, et un jacuzzi privé,avec une cour fermée pour notre berger. D’ailleurs leur chien est très sociable. Merci pour l’attention de la gamelle pour l’eau et la brioche. C’est aussi très pres de toutes les visites que l’on voulait faire. À conseiller sans problème.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. La maison est très confortable et très bien équipée. Le trampoline, les jeux, livres et BD ont ravi notre fille. Malgré un temps moyen, nous avons pu profiter du jardin, du jacuzzi et du hammam. La maison est aussi située à deux pas du cœur vivant de Saint-Pair sur Mer avec tous ses commerces et trois pas de la mer. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette chouette maison. Nous avons passé un super week-end chez Virginie, les enfants ont profité de la nature, nous avons pu pêcher et faire une pause dans l'agitation de la ville, Merci, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Our stay at Mark's was wonderful. The area is very calm and beautiful, Mark was always there to help us out when needed and the place was gorgeous ! There are also lots of things to do around and visit, it's perfect !

Un petit paradis normand, fait pour les petits et les grands. Agréable, propre et bien pensé, pour passer un excellent séjour. Jeannette et Brian sont des hôtes charmants et discrets mais toujours disponibles et souriants. Notre bébé s est régalé dans ce lieux avec les animaux,et le spa est idéal pour déconnecter pour les grands. On est en pleine nature mais en 40 min on peut faire des visites et voir la mer. Toute notre petite famille recommande ce bel endroit !

Amazing stay for our family with young children! Location was perfect driving distance from many areas of interest. And the kids enjoyed the added bonus of Sandrine's special pups being around. Thank you so much! Can't recommend enough! Xx

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end entre amis. Le lieu est très agréable et le logement parfaitement bien aménagé, la piscine et le jacuzzi que nous pouvons privatiser sont un vrai bonheur.

Wat hebben wij genoten van dit verblijf. Mooie ruime kamers en een prachtig uitzicht op het landgoed. De verhuurder en collega's van het landgoed zijn allemaal erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een rondleiding en natuurlijk het proeven van de Calvados, Pommeau, appelcider en appelsap is beslist een aanrader. De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig en historisch. Normandië heeft ons positief verrast.

Petit séjour parfait ! Notre hôte Damien est très sympathique, réactif et attentionné. Le gîte est superbe décoré avec beaucoup de goût un petit feu à notre arrivée 🥰, il y a vraiment tous ce qu'il faut dans le gîte. Environnement est très jolie avec un très beau paysage, des animaux à proximité... Bref, un bon weekend en Normandie. Au plaisir d'y retourner. Merci beaucoup 😃

Katie, our dog Jesse and I had a lovely peaceful break at Jeanne's cottage. Jeanne provided lots of helpful info about check-in, which was flexible and the local surrounding area for things to do. The house was warm and really well equipped, with lovely dinner sets and a welcome bottle of her local Pommeau de Normandie, which was delicious. The pantry cupboard is well stocked with all the necessities, so you don't need to buy everything in your first shop. The surrounding area both in Normandy and into Brittany, is really pretty, reminds me a lot of Devon in some ways, with big beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves. Plus, some of the best seafood we've eaten in ages. If you love oysters, you'll love this area. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to experience it in warmer weather and longer evenings, but it was a perfect break in winter, too.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Dominique empfangen und herzlich begrüßt. Die Unterkunft war sehr liebevoll und schön eingerichtet. Die Aussstattung war top.

Charmante maison du 18eme siècle avec une magnifique cheminée, entourée d’un vaste jardin en lisière de forêt. Accueil très chaleureux, idéal pour se ressourcer et faire de belles balades. Un havre de paix que nous recommandons.

un petit cottage anglais au sein de cette belle Normandie ! un maison chaleureuse, je dirais même familiale. Une décoration minutieuse. Le tout dans un cadre de verdure agrémenté de sympathiques moutons. Des hôtes très agréables. Merci Chris et Carolyn

Het huisje was overeenkomstig de beschrijving. De ligging is heerlijk rustig. Een prachtige tuin met goed buiten meubilair. Binnen was alles zoals beschreven. Ruim huisje met smaak gemeubileerd. Goede keuken met alles erin. Mooi uitzicht op de bloeiende fruitbomen en achter op de oude kerk. In de omgeving genoeg te doen. Prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. Supermarkten in Falaise goed bereikbaar. Het kleine dorpswinkeltje in het volgende dorp verkoopt heerlijk brood ! Een plek om terug te komen.

The cottage of Marie-Aude is cosy, modern and very practical for a family of 4 (toddler and baby). The beautiful beach is close by. So it is easy to walk to the beach multiple times per day!

Wir haben fünf Tage hier verbracht und das Apartment und die Umgebung sehr genossen. Wir waren mit einem Senior unterwegs, der nicht mehr gut laufen kann. Das Apartment, das große Schlafzimmer und auch das Badezimmer, alles war sehr gut für ihn. Auch das kleine Gärtchen mit Sitzgelegenheit vor dem Apartment Ist sehr schön. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr gut zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad und mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub bei wunderbaren Wetter. Das Apartment ist sehr gemütlich, sehr wohnlich, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es hängen sehr schöne Bilder an der Wand. Das Apartment ist auch in einer sehr schönen alten Wohnanlage gelegen. Ich empfehle es uneingeschränkt weiter. Viele Grüße, Andrea

Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. François war ein toller Host, der uns alles erklärt und einiges zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Er ist immer gut zu erreichen, falls etwas sein sollte. Das Cottage hat uns sehr gefallen, es ist klein und ruhig und man hat viel Privatsphäre, genau das, was wir gesucht haben. Außerdem war das Häuschen sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Mit dem Auto sind viel historische Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Strände gut und schnell erreichbar. Für uns ein Superhost und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Parfait pour les amoureux de la nature aimant le calme et la sérénité. Jardin bucolique débouchant sur le GR et sur la baie. Marianne est sympathique, discrète et respectueuse. Notre séjour était parfait!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Stephanie and Nicholas' cottage. The cottage was extremely peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Stephanie and Nicolas were extremely helpful hosts and very responsive to queries. We would recommend and would be happy to stay again :)

Der Urlaub war sehr schön. Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben. Alles sauber und sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, spiele für drinnen und draußen. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und ruhig Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Vintage Cottage. Margaux is a fabulous host whose responsiveness and attention to detail really add something special. Overall great value. Five Gold Stars. The breakast basket is not to be missed! The surrounding area is beautiful and suitable for touring by car, bike, or on foot. Stunning views abound. There's plenty to visit, and the homes ofCamembert and Calvdos are nearby, so culture and gatronomy also enrich the visit. Highly recommended.
