Holiday houses in Carcross

We booked this stay as a birthday get-away for the family. We arrived to a birthday banner and non-alcoholic bubbly, which was such a sweet touch! We had a great stay in this unique house! The design is so creative and thoughtful — every corner holds something special and unexpected. There’s so much to do here, I wish we had made more time to enjoy the peace, nature and amazing deck! The house is well-equipped with everything you need, and the hosts have clearly put a ton of love into making it a comfortable and memorable experience. The layout was a little tricky with our toddler. We ended up picking up some baby gates to block the stairs and the fireplace, which helped a lot. If you’re traveling with little ones maybe keep this in mind. Our bigger kids went nuts for the place! They said it was the coolest house ever. The hockey rink outside helped too! We would definitely return and would love to experience all seasons here! The hosts were awesome!

Absolutely stunning place in Carcross. Mackenzie really thought of everything to make us feel at home. Place was spotless, brand new and had insane views of the mountains. Mackenzie was very helpful and would respond quickly to messages. Very much would recommend!

We really enjoyed our glamping trip. The location is gorgeous; you’re literally camping on the ski mountain! The tents were as described. I would recommend all guests read the description fully before booking, so you are prepared! Even in August, the campsite can be very cold (you are sleeping on a mountain, after all!) I would plan ahead with food in hand and an arrival time well before sunset. It may be worth it to pay a little extra for a ride up the mountain if you have little ones with you or a lot of stuff. You can also pay extra for charcuterie, wine, etc. definitely read all they have to offer! Also, layer and bring lots of warm gear. It was in the 40s at night, and my group was underdressed (our own fault, not the host’s), but we did enjoy a fire outside of the tent and at the base area. All in all, I would definitely recommend this glampsite and hope to stay there again in the future.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! This cabin is truly a work of art – like something straight out of a movie. The craftsmanship and warmth made it feel so cosy, and the stunning surroundings were the perfect escape. We were incredibly lucky to witness an unforgettable aurora display in the middle of the night, making our short two-day stay even more special. A beautiful spot for a change of pace and the best place to take in breathtaking scenery. Highly recommend!

This was our second time with Yukon Farmstay BnB .. and I can’t wait to return. The accommodations are beautiful, comfortable, squeaky clean, peaceful, close to town but in the woods. All the amenities you need to cook a great meal, sit quietly and read a book or enjoy the warm fire. The best host in Whitehorse!
