Really enjoyed my stay at this beach house. Had everything you needed and was a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

This place is magical! It’s on the edge of the forest and a few blocks to ocean. After a morning soak in the awesome hot tub on deck we walked in to the forest. It was awe inspiring under the huge canopy of trees. I felt so connected to Mother Nature at that moment. The home was spotlessly clean on arrival with a number of beds and enough space for a large family. Very comfortable and well stocked, even had a pet basket, we felt right at home. Wished we could have stayed longer and are already making plans to come back this summer. Kylee was very accommodating, we booked last minute and she extended us a late checkout so we could have a lazy morning and enjoy the place. 100% recommend this place!

Absolutely love this place! Depot Bay, Lincoln City close by. it was a quiet neighborhood and very relaxing! Jim and Rachel responded quickly to any questions I had. Can't recommend it enough! Would definately book again!

We stayed with two young kids and had the best week at the beach! The house was lovely, exactly as pictured and with so many great amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals each day and even had a booster seat for our 2 year old. The kids play room was a big hit with lots of fun toys and books. We loved being able to walk to the beach, a quick and easy 5 minute walk, to a beautiful and secluded section of the coast. It was a quick 5 minute drive to Manzanita to pick up groceries or coffee and easy access to the 101 for checking out other local beaches. The location is really special and we had such an amazing stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We definitely hope to return!

This house was very cute and clean. The beds were comfy and the room set up was perfect for our group. The location was 2ish block from beach access with stairs and a (steep) ramp. A great place to stay!

We always enjoy our stay here. It’s been a few years since we were able to visit - word got out and I’m terrible at planning ahead lol. Hot tub is awesome. Nice fenced yard for the doggo. Games and movies. Well stocked kitchen. Short walk to Siletz Bay and Pelican Brewing. Love that it’s at the south end of Lincoln City and not directly in all the hubbub but only a short drive to activities. Definitely will return.

Clear, easy-to-follow instructions from check-in to check-out. Host was on top of it with reaching out to ensure our needs were met during our stay over the weekend, and very quick to respond if we had questions. Place was spacious, comfortable and quiet (which my boyfriend, dog and I needed coming from the city and were visiting touristy areas). Overall very satisfied and highly recommend. Thank you very much for hosting us.

Heather was an excellent host! She responded quickly to any questions we had and was very accommodating. She was able to get us an early check-in on a very last minute trip we planned and we couldn’t have been happier with the location, space for our teens and yard for our dogs! The house is equipped with everything you need and is within walking distance to the beach. There is an awesome little coffee shop a block away for breakfast with a cozy hang out and our favorite pelican brewery is just a short drive down the street! Pet friendly was a huge plus for us since this is always the hardest when traveling and we love homes that are clean and accommodating! Thank you Heather so much for sharing your awesome home!

Wonderful little place, but plenty of room for 4 and a dog. We even got visited by a family of deer (two fawns). I didn’t see the book of instructions for what we needed to do before we check out, so we ended up leaving a few pans that were to hot to clean (bacon grease).

My family and are had a great time here and would love to come back someday!! Lisa was very friendly and had everything we needed. Thank you again for an amazing stay.

This place was perfect for a quick weekend trip to the beach! The location was perfect (short walk to the beach) and the place was perfect for 3 kids, 3 adults. The kitchen was clean and efficient, having firewood available for purchase was a great perk, and the free-to-use items came in handy. Would highly recommend

This place was just right for 4 adults and 1 child. Not huge but cozy and cute with everything we needed. The close proximity to the beach was amazing! We had a great time! The host brought us condiments and gave us local restaurant and activity recommendations which was very nice.

Really nice place to stay at that allowed us to bring 2 dogs. We had great sleep, easy times cooking and enjoying the favorite shows on the evening. The Oceanside beach was only a minute drive,and we loved nearby market that features vegetarian samosas. The house has an inviting space in the front surrounded by flowers - that was our favorite spot for morning tea.

Excellent stay, 10 minute walk to the beach and very quiet! Equipped with everything you need to keep you comfortable for a few days. We were happy the shower was so warm and the bed was comfy. Extremely clean despite the naturey area (prone to bugs) and everything worked properly. The space is small so I wouldn’t recommended more than 2 adult bodies (and one infant), the space fills quickly. We did enjoy the grill and the beautiful flowers! No issues with the WiFi which is always appreciate. Thank you for having us!

The cottage was beautiful and close enough to the beach that it was only a short walk. The area is very quiet, and makes for a great setting to sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery and sounds of the ocean. This was easily one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in my travels and definitely plan on returning in the future. Tillamook is only about 10 minutes away, so convenience is still pretty close by.

This house is a little slice of heaven, the yard and firepit 🔥 is lovely and peaceful. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well stocled and there are great books. I highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay. Very cozy and incredible views with easy beach access. Pet friendly place, so a corner of the couch smelled a bit like dog, but otherwise immaculate. Doug is a wonderful host.

A fantastic stay for a trip to the coast! More secluded location, but still minutes from the beach made for a very peaceful stay. Wonderful spot for a stay with kids ir dogs. Note that there is actually MORE space than is shown in the listing.

Porcupine Cottage was so pretty and cozy. We felt very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful especially sitting on the deck and enjoying the view and birds. Julia and her husband are very friendly and helpful with information about the area. Provided us with a park pass and tide chart which helped with our sightseeing. I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Porcupine Cottage as a wonderful peaceful retreat.

Comfortable little place

Excellent location just a few blocks from the beach, nice wine bar next door, grocery a block down, and very quiet at night.

The place is exactly as advertised -- a funky bar with a kitchen and some beds. Pool, air hockey, and video games were all fantastic. It was a fun way to spend a few days.

Beautiful home and view of the ocean. The location was very central to everywhere we went.
