Private suite holiday rentals in Cape Agulhas Municipality

SOUTBOS is a gift. Better than the photos, imho. Great location, very quiet & peaceful and generously spacious. We were three and didn’t use the 3rd bedroom. The layout allows private/quiet spaces to retreat but also a big living room flowing into the verandah where the view is everything. We loved watching the sunrise, the breathtaking vistas of the sea & sky, and the hypnotic blink of the lighthouse by night. Ignored the TV, didn’t switch it on once. Easy walks to beaches, tidal pools, and the best coffee & gift shop/deli at 123 on Main (host owned!), and an incredible hike to the Meisho Maru wreck basically starts on the doorstep. I can imagine SOUTBOS being a haven even in the most grumpy Agulhas weather. I can’t wait to return in winter and watch the weather rage from the comfort of the fireside with a pile of books. Thanks to Rainer for an immaculate home & location & being so welcoming & kind.

We had a lovely stay at Mario’s, the space was perfect for my husband and I and our toddler. Great private patio with bbq and lovely master bedroom with sofa in it. Kitchen was small but fine for us. Mario was an excellent host - very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. Location was a walk to the coast path, one local restaurant and fernkloof, but otherwise a short drive into town / main beaches so car was recommended. Thanks for a very happy holiday, we’d definitely return :)

5 star stay ⭐️.Helpful, friendly, smooth check in . View on both sides , mountain & ocean 👌. Linen & towels 5 star ⭐️.Bed so comfy 👌. Tiny problem which was sorted out in minutes 🙌. Don’t bother looking else where this is the place to stay . Little bit out of town but lovely & peaceful . Cliff walk which Eunice recommends is a must . 1 hour into Hermanus , easy walking . Also if you like in the town .. check out Goozi apartment which they also have & is walkable to everything . All in all both places 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you both & we would love to revisit in the future 🙏🙏🙏

We stayed for one night to join a marine tour early the next morning. For that, the location was perfect and the apartment was just right.

The rooms were clean. Location was good and Margit was a delightful host!

Perfect place to relax and unwind. Great light....open glass doors to the outdoor deck with the ocean just feet away.....we did a braii and had a wonderful time...I highly recommend this jewel...great -kind host !!!! 5 stars

A perfect venue for our overnight stay for a nearby sport event the following day. We were well rested for an early morning start and enjoyed exploring the shops in the Main Street of Napier. Die Unterkunft bei Willie und Elsabe war die beste auf unserer bisherigen Reise. Sehr komfortabel und sauber. Willie hat uns bei Ankunft sehr herzlich begrüßt und in alles eingewiesen. Es gab auch einige kleine Aufmerksamkeiten im Kühlschrank und zwischendurch wurde nach und geschaut und gefragt ob alles gut ist. Wir haben uns sehr Willkommen gefühlt. Zwar hatten wir etwas Regen aber da die Unterkunft so schön war, haben wir uns dort trotzdem eine sehr gute Zeit gemacht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen, sowie die restliche Stadt. Bei gutem Wetter sind verschiedene Wanderungen möglich. Der Sonnenaufgang ist vom Balkon aus zu sehen. Wunderschön! Unser Auto konnte sogar in der Garage parken. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man sich wünscht! Danke!

Wonderful stay at Skulphoek. Everything was as advertised and loved how spacious and clean it was.

We just loved the suite, definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Very warm welcome, great recommendation for the sorroundings and a fantastic place to stay :) super clean, cozy and in a lovely neighbourhood. We would come back anytime!

We stayed one night at Melinda's and everything was super fine! close to everything, nice bedding with little heat pads! Thoughtful things like insect repellent and hand cream! Would pic this place again in Hermanus!

WOW! What an incredible stay we had here. It was just perfect. The view with the wine yards and the olive trees were perfectly for a walk. Felt like a princess for one night. If we could, we would marry here instantly. A big thanks to the onsite housemanager owen, he do an absolutely perfect job. We come back.

Micheal-Adam is a very attentive host with knowledge of his town. The unit was neat and in pristine condition with high quality linen. I will recommend a stay with Micheal-Adam anytime. We will definitely go back there.

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, nur die Aussicht war noch viel viel besser! Es ist wunderschön die untergehende Sonne aus dem Wohnzimmer zu betrachten. Die Aussicht aus dem Schlafzimmer ist ein Highlight. Wir haben unsere Tage in der Wohnung sehr genossen 😊

We stayed for 2 nights while we explored Hermanus and Cape L'Agulhas. It is a convenient short drive to everything in town - we loved the farmer's market and walking along the coast. While the weather was colder for the winter, we appreciated the gas heater provided. Off street gated parking was a plus. Host was super friendly and welcoming.

Diana's place was just as the photos display it. On arrival we were met by our friendly host. The accomodate was clean and had everything needed to enjoy our stay.

We had a lovely comfortable stay. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Rhoda has thought of everything to enable you to stay and enjoy the spot. Such thoughtful touches like matches, firelighters, wood, oil etc. We would definitely rebook

what a gem! The guest suite is beautiful. Brian was welcoming and full of local information which was invaluable. We visited a few of the recommended vineyards as well as local restaurants and cafes and they did not disappoint. Highlights included Vrede en Lust for brunch, The French bistro for dinner and The Blue Correander for a curry. The Mad Hatter was a great spot to have a relaxing drink whilst listening to live music. Thank you Brian for welcoming us to your beautiful area. Hope to return to do more of the recommendations!

Carol met me at check-in and showed me through the accommodation and amenities. She made herself available for any questions and ensured everything was in order. She was a delightful and friendly host and I would highly recommend the accommodation to any visitor no matter the purpose of their stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt very at home. We mostly used it to sleep there as we were in the area for birthday celebrations. The accommodation was super clean and the hosts were friendly and responsive. We did get there 45 minutes late and I didn't communicate as such but they were very accommodating and helpful even though I was not great with communication. Very happy with our stay.

Charming well-appointed house near the centre of Hermanus. The house is stylish and artistic and set in a tranquil garden. We loved walking into town and along the mountain contour path which is easily accessed from the house. Helpful and gracious hosts.

Rosa has a wonderful home and is a wonderful person with a very warm welcoming personality. The accommodation is breathtaking and reminds one about their home away from home.
