The hills are alive… If you know the film The Sound of Music you will understand the reference because that is exactly where you are when you visit Toffen and the peace and quiet of Markus’ & Salome’s home. Offering a private, large bedroom space, private bathroom & kitchenette in their home, M & S make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. Their communication & flexibility for arrival was great given my delays. Everything was spotless & clean. There is a private entrance down two small flights of stairs to reach the rooms & onsite parking is available. A great place to spend time in nature & explore the surrounding areas of Bern, Thun & Interlaken. Located approx 1.5-2 hrs from Zurich airport.

We had a great time at Brigitte. The studio looked brand new and was very comfy for two people. Location okay, half an hour from Lucerne but it’s best to have a car. Brigitte was a great host, she gave us tons of local tips and recommendations. Definitely recommend staying at hers.

The location is great, it's I'm the center of everything you can walk everywhere, the communication with the host was great. The place has everything including a dishwasher and clothes washer. They even left us an Easter present, we would definitely come back!

it was an incredible stay. Marlis had parking for the car so it was phenomenal. the tidy spacious room, had clear instructions of everything available. paid breakfast was phenomenal totally recommended. thank you very much for everything Marlis was a phenomenal stay. We would definitely return in summer hehe best regards!

With Brigitte, it says a quick and easy communication. The studio is large, clean and located at a quiet location. It's less than 4 minutes to the train station. Brigitte was quickly and friendly available for questions. Her tips as a local are varied, and for example with restaurant recommendations, it is completely up to its mark. I thank Brigitte for the pleasant time, and can fully recommend it as a host

Thank you, Monika, for having us. It felt very cosy and the kids could even play in the garden in the evening. The breakfast basket next day was very nice and plentiful for us and our 3 kids. We stayed only for a night, but we loved it.
