Monthly Rentals in Candal

Very well located for visiting Porto and Gaia, as much for those who like walking as for the public transport network. It was easy to park the car. Close to a food market with lots of choices within walking distance… small well-organized house, limited space for cooking but still functional. Small private terrace but a little noisy, car traffic passes right next door. Thanks to the host for their good advice!!

We can't say enough about our stay here. Maria and Sergio were extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us great suggestions for places to see and the best places to get local dishes. Only downside is that I wish we stayed longer, but there is always a next time! Highly recommend!!

I only rated 4 stars for the cleaning and the equipment in the kitchen, that could be improved. But other than that, the accommodation is peaceful, super well located, with a very nice view on Porto. The indication for access by the host were really clear, and the fact that you can park for free in the area is great. Vila Nova de Gaia is one of the best place to stay in Porto, quiet but close to the city center by walk. I would recommend this accommodation.

This is such a nice place. It’s outside of the downtown area, which I prefer so it’s not noisy. I had a car, but it’s better to leave the car and take an Uber to and from the river area. I walked there the first day, but due to construction in the area, Uber it was on way back, and both ways the second day. Cost is only 6-12€ depending on time of day I really appreciated the fruit and coffee pods left for me. Also a bottle of wine. Also, it’s connected to a huge mall, where I had dinner one night and also did grocery shopping in. The host is so friendly, speaks English, and face so many helpful recommendations. Check in was very flexible, which I appreciated, since I wasn’t sure exactly what time I’d arrive. The bed was comfortable too, which is important. I would definitely stay here again.
