Hello and bonjour, My name is Nicola and I'm Scottish but love the fantastic countyside here in beautiful Burgundy. Our cute house with terrace and mezzanine is nestling under the magnificent Chateauneuf en Auxois. In 2 minutes you can walk along the Canal De Bourgogne taking in the wonderful views. Lots of interestings places to visit,wine to drink, markets, restaurants, castles, nature. Beaune 25 minutes, Dijon 40. Local market in summer in Pouilly en Auxois on a Friday. A bientot, Nicola :)

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Its location allows you to discover Dijon and its Agglomeration. Possibility of free parking 10 minutes walk from the apartment or Rue Millotet (Rue de l 'Appartement) for €12 per day. Looking to put your bags down for a weekend or longer? Then look no further! We are waiting for you in our pretty house located in Humes-Jorquenay, five km from Langres exit A5. It's a good place to walk, for its medieval architecture, such as its ramparts and the Tower of Navarre, or for its history, illustrated by Denis Diderot's Maison des Lumières and much more. Our house is also surrounded by four lakes, the nearest being that of La Mouche, 5 km away.
