Welcome to Casa do Sapateiro! This green retreat is located in a small village at the foot of Serra dos Candeeiros, an hour's drive from Lisbon. It invites you to enjoy the surrounding calm, cool off in the pool, read a book in the patio room amidst the plants, or have a glass of wine in front of the large fireplace. Being an old house integrated into the village, it was renovated in 2007 and since then enriched by the affection of my parents who made it a true green oasis overlooking the mountains.

Classified as a national monument, this emblematic mill of Peniche had, since 1895 and for decades, agricultural and industrial use. Currently, completely renovated and known as “Abrigo do Moleiro,” it is a welcoming space for tourists from all over the world, providing unique memories to those who stay overnight. The beach is located in a 3 min drive, while Sintra historic center is reachable in a 12 min drive. Lisbon airport is located in a 35 min drive. The property was fully renovated, opening on May 2023

The house which went through a recent renovation is a traditional Portuguese house with a yard, a barbecue and also one parking spot.
