Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cameron County

This was our second stay at this home and I’m sure we will return. We love the area and this place is private, clean, and very comfortable.

Five stars all the way!!! The description fit to a ‘T’ and all the amenities were there! Jeff and Tara made us feel right at home! Great communication, great recommendations, awesome surroundings, private setting … truly perfect for some good rest and relaxation. Plan to go back!!

This house was an amazing find for our annual multigenerational family gathering of 22. It looks exactly like the pictures if not better. Rita & Joe were great hosts, quick to answer questions at time of booking and during our stay (sometimes within minutes), and were accommodating to our special requests. The beautiful living room with wood burning fireplace was massive yet also warm and inviting, perfect for our family to gather in one area. The professional kitchen was very clean, plenty of prep space, and well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals for our large group. Comfortably beds, plenty of towels and supplies. Beautiful & peaceful setting. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well maintained the house was, especially considering its age. This is not a modern house by any means and it has its quirks, but our family absolutely loved the beautiful craftsmanship and character of this mansion. Highly recommend, coming back next year!

This is a cute little place close to the elk and not far from town. It's got plenty of room, a fireplace, and a nice covered back porch. It's quiet, and the elk do wander down once it gets cold. We would stay again. Hosts are also very friendly.

Being retired and taking maybe trips around the United States we found this Airbnb to be one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It’s an incredibly pretty house located on 250 acres in the most serene settings. We sat in the backyard, had drinks and watched the deer walk around and enjoyed the scenic beauty. It was such a pleasure to be there.

The place was spotless! So relaxing and peaceful to stay there. I will make a reservation for next year. One of the best places I have rented. Our host Carla was great. Very responsive to any questions I had. Also everything you needed, towels, dishes and utensils, linens, etc.. Great gameroom and a couple of sitting rooms to watch tv or read. Very peaceful. Had a couple of Elk come through the yard. Thank you for providing such a nice place.

Second time staying here and it’s a beautiful place . Ann is very responsive and pleasant to deal with . Again , love the shower !!

The house is very cozy and very comfortable plenty of open space for sharing conversations with other members of your group across the living room and dining room area. Bathrooms were a lil small but very clean kitchen area was very bright and there was everything you needed for cooking.

We have stayed here multiple times and it is a great place! One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed at!

We were in area for family reunion and found Rene’s place and it was perfect. It met all of our needs. It was clean, it was comfortable and it was cozy. The house is warm and inviting. We loved spending time on the front and back covered porches. The house was well furnished and Rene went well and above with the amenities. Rene was excellent to work with. She responded immediately when contacted.

Peaceful location with beautiful views. Very clean. The entire town is walkable and feels very safe. Bedrooms are connected one through the other, but was great for me and my older mom. There are stairs to climb, in case that may be an issue for some. We really enjoyed our 2nd stay this summer! Thanks Yovy!

Robin was the perfect host and his location is ideal for privacy and peacefulness. Having him provide essential grocery items was a huge plus! We didn't have to run right out to the grocery store. The living space is comfy and very relaxing. Robin was welcoming and we look forward to returning.

This was our second time staying at this location. It was the upstairs apartment. There was a rain storm (remnants of Hurricane Debby) and flooding the next day. Amy contacted me to make me aware the basement would need pumped out. I really appreciated the heads up and thoughtfulness. Yovy and Amy are wonderful hosts and my daughter and I love staying at their place. I highly recommend them!

Great place to stay for our 6 person work crew doing surveys in the forest to the north. We worked everyday in the rain and totally appreciated have a washer and dryer to take care of our clothes and gear and a warm dry place to lay our heads. The owners even brought additional detergent for us!! Thanks for everything!!

This is a comfortable cabin near elk viewing areas. State game lands are within walking distance of the cabin. It's not the only cabin in the area; in fact, it's in a sort of undeveloped subdivision of cabins and homes. So, it's remote and peaceful, but not isolated. It looked like one of the coziest cabins on that hill, and there's plenty of space between lots. We didn't avail ourselves of it, but there is fire ring out front, and the host graciously provided enough wood for two or three campfires. We did step out to enjoy the night sky which was crystal clear. If you let your eyes adjust, you can see the Milky Way. The water is strong with iron as the host warned us but it ran clear in the sinks and the shower. We did bring bottled water for drinking. The kitchen is stocked with the basic cookware; we had all we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner. The beds that we used were comfortable; we slept soundly. I'd recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area.

Our stay was amazing in every aspect. Location was perfect. Space was very clean. Hot tube was so nice. I would highly recommend this property.

Thomas was a great host! The cabin was perfect for a little getaway from all of the hustle and bustle. The cabin is close to Winslow Hill Elk viewing. Overall, the cabin was extremely comfortable and clean! Definitely would recommend staying.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to get into the PA Wilds. We have come here the last three years for bear season. The house is always super clean and well maintained, all of the appliances work, the heat is comfortable and the bunk house can sleep a number of people. Tim is as good as they get as a host, very responsive to messages and makes sure we have what we need when we are there.

Our kids really enjoyed their rooms, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. We slept really good and enjoyed our time.

The house was very nice, and pictures do not do it justice. It looks like It is brand new. It was a very peaceful location. Everything you could need is in the house ready for use. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine. ☺️ I would 100% stay there again.
