Holiday rentals with a pool in Calvi

Our family of 5 adults had a wonderful vacation at Villa Louise in Algajola. Livia was the perfect host—easy to communicate with and generous with cookies and a bottle of wine in the fridge when we arrived. The three comfortable bedrooms each with their own bathroom and air conditioning worked perfectly for us. Beautiful indoor and outdoor dining spaces set the scene for memorable family meals. We loved walking to the delicious bakery each morning for fresh pastries and enjoyed taking Livia’s standup paddle boards down to the easily walkable beach. Parking was also easy and we took many trips to mountain villages and neighboring beaches. We would love to come back and stay here again someday!

The place is simply beautiful, even more beautiful than in the photos. Quiet, well-appointed, it's the perfect place to relax. The private pool is a real gem: clean, intimate and perfect for enjoying the stay. We loved our (too) short stay here. I recommend it without hesitating! The host was very welcoming and responsive. We had a great week with our daughter. The accommodation is well-equipped, pleasant and spacious for a family. The neighborhood is very quiet. The nearest beaches are 5/10 min by car, easily accessible and convenient to park. We were close to Calvi and Île Rousse, which we were looking for. Our host was easily reachable and responsive. If we have the opportunity, we will return to this accommodation without hesitation. Thank you for this week at Lumio!

Very pleasant stay in a part of Corsica that we did not know. The accommodation is very intimate, totally private, in perfect condition (very modern) the nearby Cap Corse is really worth a visit, as well as Corte for example and the Restonica valley. But what particularly struck us was the quality of the welcome from our hostess. We found a little Corsican charcuterie in the fridge when we arrived, as well as a bottle of white wine... In short: a place to recommend, really.....!

This accommodation was simply perfect! The location is ideal, close to many shops (the city is beautiful), restaurants, Super U, beach, everything is done on foot (even with small children). The apartment was very clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. We particularly enjoyed the quiet of the residence and the pool is impeccable. Hélène is really very welcoming and very kind, making sure we have everything we need. We highly recommend this place and will return without hesitation very soon I hope.

we spent 4 nights at Laura's, in June 2025, accommodation as described and in the photos. about 15 minutes walk from the city centre. small downside no parking space. very good welcome Warm host and very good advice we will come back without hesitation

Thank you for everything, the apartment is very well equipped, well located for visiting Calvi on foot. Breathtaking view of the citadel and the sea. We were very well received, with advice on restaurants and visits to do. Idyllic week, we hope to return. Everything was perfect.

We have been very happy with this place and the friendly contact with the owners. The alternating swimming pool (very well maintained) and sea (nearby or further afield) was a great opportunity for our six-year-old grandson to learn to swim while having fun. The proximity to the national road is an asset to get around easily, as a (slight) inconvenience for those who are sensitive to the unavoidable noise from cars. The proximity to the surrounding nature delighted us and had breakfast (late) in the company of the black milans and a crécerelle falcon flying over the nearby field was a charming experience. (There is also a beautiful story of Mr. Varetto with a milan that he will surely tell you if you ask him.) The attic apartment requires some attention to avoid banging your head, but all the beams are lined with a protective foam that helps...

Thank you for the pleasent stay. We enjoyed our stay and the location. Everything was as descriped and in good conditions. The only downside ist the price for the towels etc. AS for the price it should be included and not bei priced so high. Overall we can recommend this place. Many thanks

The welcome was amazing, warm and pleasant. Madeleine picked us up by car in the city to guide us to the house. The house is spacious and nice, the view and the pool are superb. The only downside would be the lack of a few basic supplies: bath mats and dish towels. Namely the air conditioning is not working. Thanks again to Madeleine for hosting us.
