Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Calhoun County

This was our second visit. Just like our earlier visit, it was excellent. The only negative was that the Detroit Lions were NOT in the Superbowl, but that's not on Joe. 😉

Amy-Lyn was a nice host. The home was great and seeing the deer made our stay wonderful. Location was great and peacefully private. Thank you and we would recommend this home to everyone.

I've stayed in quite a few AirBnBs and this was definitely one of, if not the best I've stayed in. The pictures really don't do it justice- the view across the lake was gorgeous and very peaceful. The home itself was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very well stocked for basically any need you might have while there. Lauren met us for the check in and showed us around and was an all around fantastic host. You're also right by many stores and restaurants (which Lauren provided us a detailed list of, very helpful/appreciated) but we mainly spent our time just enjoying the home, hot tub, and lake. There are neighbors on either side and around the lake, but the way the backyard space is set up makes it still feel very private when you're back there. I would definitely love to come back in the future!

We loved the place! So many fabulous things about this house: the hot tub, the fire pit, the bathrooms, the comfortable beds, the big towels, all the blankets, the washer and dryer, the stocked kitchen... it was an awesome stay! My siblings and I came in for a funeral and the place was perfect. The kitchen is stocked well enough we made breakfast every morning. The entire place is very spacious, there as plenty of room! The outdoor space was our favorite for sitting around in the evening reminiscing. It is 10-12 min. from the highway, Meijer, restaurants in Battle Creek, and there is a liquor store around the corner! My family lives in the area and I will definitely stay here again when I come with a few other people.

This is the third time we've stayed at Lori's place. Our family of 12, coming from Cleveland and Chicago, to spend time on the water and together. The kitchen is nice and big with plenty of cookware for gourmet meals. The 2 mile loop around the lake is quiet and a good route for running. There's lot of space to spread out and enjoy the fresh air.

Jason was very responsive to all of our questions and request. There was some minor cleaning upon our arrival but nothing to ruined our stay. Grocery stores and coffee shops all within 7-minute drive from house. Recommend Jason as a host whenever in Battle Creek, MI.

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

Cozy and homey place to spend a night away! The hot tub is awesome and deer are abundant. Would definitely love to come back another weekend.

Our stay was lovely! Great privacy in a beautiful little getaway. TV’s are great, bed was so comfortable, had all the things we needed! Just a little chilly in the winter, but host warned us beforehand so we weren’t surprised!

Everything was great. Absolutely loved the carriage house! Thank you so much for the attention you give to it for your guests. Hopefully, we will have opportunity to come back in summer. Brought back lots of memories because my grandparents had a cabin 5 min away for decades during my childhood. Thanks again!

We were in town for my Mothers funeral. We originally were staying at another Airbnb that wasn't able to extend our reservation. Rachel not only confirmed our new reservation within minutes, but also allowed us to go straight from check out at the other place to check in at her place without waiting around for several hours. She was also extremely helpful when we had an emergent situation with our dog, Dexter. The house is absolutely beautiful and even though you're only a few minutes outside of town it feels super secluded and private. Wonderful host, wonderful house.

John & I were so thankful for the living space Kathleen offered. We were in Marshall for 6 weeks to work with the Brain Treatment Center. We loved our health retreat as we worked with Dr. Wallace and her staff. Sunset Hills living was perfect with everything we needed, also to allow me to work remotely while in Marshall. Kathleen and Shawn were amazing and so so responsive to any of our request. Love and Energy! Diana

We had a great stay at Kris' place! The place was even better than we expected. Check-in was very easy and Kris was friendly and responsive. We had plenty of room for 3 adults and were very comfortable in the space. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and never felt cramped. I especially loved that the bathroom space was large and everything felt new and super clean. Plenty of parking space & quiet surroundings. The neighborhood is nice and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Near perfection! Here are the things we loved: -Outside was maintained and lots of yard to play in, discover, and walk. Plus she had yard games available. Also a huge fire pit and comfy chairs, hammock, and large circular swing. They also have a waterproof bin of fire starting materials that was super helpful. -Delicious Kcup options for coffee. -Tons of soft, heavy, comfortable blankets. -Comfy beds and couches. -Plenty of towels for our family of 5. -Clean house and not overdone with decor. -MASSAGE CHAIR! -Chest of games and puzzles (and dvds lol) -Very quick to respond. Overall, We will go here again because it is an amazing place! So many positives! Kids want to live here!!

This place was so cute and cozy. It was perfect for us to visit family living across the lake!

I can’t say enough about how sweet Jenna’s place was!! I was shocked by how big the yard was and private! The views are amazing from every room in the cabin and it was all around so cozy. This place is a slice of heaven!
