Perfect getaway spot in beautiful Hermanus! The location is fantastic –private, and close to town (walking distance). The firewood hot tub was such a treat, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

A get away we didn’t know we needed. We spent two nights, and we are looking forward to going back. The breakfasts baskets are lovely, the staff are friendly, the cottage is stunning and the surroundings are so very pretty.

We loved our stay a Jackal River Farm and will definitely be back with the rest of our family. Very comfortable home and outside facilities with everything your need and more. Thanks Dwayne.

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Special views to enjoy, well equipped home, uncluttered yet including most of what makes a break comfortable. Particularly impressed by kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery quality - makes for convenient self catering. Location good and plenty of activities nearby. Very suitable for a couple or family of 4 but might feel a bit crowded with six adults in the space. But certainly a wonderful break away

This is a lovely cottage with a peaceful atmosphere and fantastic mountain views. There were a couple of snags during our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond to any needs

What a stunning airbnb. Everything is pristine, designed beautifully, and thoughtful. The garden is so relaxing to sit in and the outdoor patio by the braai is also lovely for nighttime dinners. My husband and I absolutely loved this place and plan to return in the future. It was so peaceful and lovely. The large bath tub and equipped kitchen were also highlights. It is located on the vineyards of a few wine farms and so it was great to walk to Stellenbosch Reserve for a tasting & dinner and also nice to walk along the vines. It felt very peaceful and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Lonette’s place. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The aircon and pool were lovely as it was super hot! Our dog was also welcome which was an extra bonus! Lonette’s communication was excellent and check-in was easy. Thank you, Lonette!

we had an amazing stay at the farmhouse. it's absolutely perfect for a laid-back family / large group stay. The location is stunning and we particularly loved the outside area with it's outside braai and large plunge pool/hot tub. Our kids loved the donkeys, climbing the trees, and swimming in the dam. and our dog loved playing with resident dogs Bobby and Faff! Thank you for a wonderful stay; we'll definitely be back.

We really loved our stay - the cottage is quaint, very well equipped and in a beautiful area. We loved that it was fully fenced with so much space for the dogs to run around. The kitchen was really well equipped and the beds were super comfy and clean. John was very friendly and welcoming, and instructions were clear and uncomplicated. We appreciated the welcome treats, thank you, and enjoyed braaing outside on the stoep and making a cosy fire inside - both great fireplaces!

Good location for Hermanus centre and easy drive to main beach. Properties was great

78 Beach Road is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights (2 adults and 1 teenager). It’s spacious, calm and has everything you need. We visited after a week in Cape Town so we’re ready to relax, with the ocean views and sound of the waves it was perfect. We enjoyed using the indoor Braai, the plunge pool in the garden and evening walks along the rock paths. There is so much to do in the area especially if you have a car including zip lines, shark/whale watching, hiking, beach days, penguins, botanical gardens, local wildlife and much more, it’s a beautiful landscape. The owner was very responsive when we had questions we all felt safe and comfortable. We would love to stay here again it was perfect.

Lovely and peaceful with interior space even better than in the photographs. The unit had everything we needed and communication was clear an quick. Good location close to town but away from the crowds. As is clear from the pictures these unites are side-by-side, but they are still very private. (I guess you could have bad luck and a noisy neighbour.) Would definitely recommend.

A proper farm - protea flowers - but only 30 minute scenic drive to nearest large town (Stanford) and 15 minute drive to nearest small village. We (2 adults + 2 small dogs) enjoyed our walks, dips in the river ponds, and sunsets and sunrises, in short, a nice getaway. Lindsay was friendly, interesting and attentive, a great host.

What a beautiful little cottage. Everything was just perfect. Two things I do want to mention is that there is only a very small fridge, so if you stay longer than two days there is not place to store your cold stuff and the busy road goes past the farm at the back and you can hear the cars and motorbikes when you are sitting on your porch, so makes the very tranquil space a bit noisy. Issi was a great host and very kind and responsive. Thank so much for everything!!

This beautiful cottage was perfectly located near the Point for sunset & coastal fynbos walk to beach. It’s a small but supremely comfy & clean cottage with gorgeous decor & everything we needed to be comfortable. It even has a sea view (look out for whales), outdoor seating and pleasing outlook over a natural wetlands garden with a pond and bench. Felt private, safe & serene with separate entrance & car park. Brian and Harriet were lovely people, the perfect kind of hosts and provided helpful info about activities in the area.

Beautiful house where we immediately felt at home. Everything looked exactly like in the pictures. The garden was very nice with an amazing pool, the kids loved to run around. The Communication with the host was very good, fast and helpful. The house is located next to some small nice local deli’s, and restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. We really recommend this place!

We have had a lovely stay with Mel on her beautiful wine farm. The spot tranquil and beautiful and Mel has been incredibly accommodating! Definitely would recommend and definitely will be returning!

Ferdi and Melissa’s place exceeded all of our expectations! They went over and above to accommodate our needs and situation. This place is better than the pictures. And the location is prime! We would stay here again 10 times over. Ferdi helped with the fireplace on multiple occasions. If you’re staying in the winter, the only thing might be that there is no central heat, however, the fireplace is just the perfect touch for the place. If you’re looking for a high level stay with high level hosts and picturesque views, then this is the place for you!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful place & space Vo & Moses and the rest of your gang. We absolutley loved staying in it - it was the perfect place for our group of 7. The house was big enough for us not to be tripping over each other, but also small enough to still be cozy and comfortable. Thank you for checking in on us like you did, and for sharing all that you did. The property is incredible, and being out on the deck that overlooks the river, with a cup of coffee in the early morning is a must! The house was freezing - but once the fore was lit and we'd had a glas of red wine - we were all good :) Beds were comfortable, and the electric blankets made night times very pleasant. The house is an easy walk into town - and very well located. We'd definitley stay here again - especially with a group of friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Cranberry Cottage. The introduction to the property was warm and friendly, and Lesley was always available if we needed anything. The cottage was extremely comfortable with every possible amenity we needed. We really appreciated the personal touches, like bubbly in the fridge and a bowl of fruit. The cottage was secluded and secure, and had a lovely garden area for relaxing and taking meals. Cranberry Cottage is in easy driving distance of shops and restaurants in Somerset West, as well as centrally located for wonderful excursions to the wine country, Cape Peninsula and coastal areas. Very highly recommended.

Visited over the Easter holidays with my family. Lovely little place, my daughter enjoyed staying in the annex bedroom. Thank you Louise for a lovely stay ☺️
