Pedro and his family are super hosts. The home was fantastic and everything was just perfect. A fantastic stay enjoyed by all 8 of us.

We had such an amazing time at João’s place, it’s charming, beautiful, had everything we needed and more. Communication with João was impeccable, proactive, very responsive. We were greeted by the host and were shown around the property which added a special nice touch to the whole experience. Fresh bread and fruits provided by the host were so appreciated! The place was very clean. Backyard was beautiful. Parking was never an issue. You do need a car if you stay here. The place is located centrally and you are within a reasonable drive to everything that the island has to offer. Do not hesitate to book!!

There were two of us there and the place was very large and had more than enough space. In 15 minutes walking you can get to a large supermarket. It is also possible to walk to the sea where there is a walking path. Parking right in front of the house was also a plus for us. Communication was quick and easy. There is not much to do in Lagoa but since I assume that you usually get a rental car, we can recommend the location. Quick to Ponta Delgada and Airport. Otherwise, all other parts of the island are easily accessible by car.

We had a lovely time, the place is ideal for big groups. Ana was extremely helpful with anything that we needed. The house is fully equipped, clean and close to beautiful hiking trails and a 10min drive from ponta delgada. Big recommendation!
