Yelapa Beachfront Casita

CamRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Very accommodating stay. Definitely need to be ok with walking if you plan on visiting town, as it is across the beach. But I found the walk to be no problem. There are steep stairs to Yelapa’s main camino that can be a bit hard to find at first. The bathroom is connected to the bedroom without a door, so just be ready for this. The room itself is very open and airy. The cabana on the beach is a nice feature. I had a hard time figuring out how to use the induction stove in the kitchen, but I got it to work. Alexis is very helpful and an awesome host. The view is fantastic and I hope to stay here again!

Secluded beach front paradise home

DillonRating, 5 stars24 months ago
Kathy and Rulon were fantastic hosts, they were very responsive and proactive about recommendations. The property is beautiful, 10 out of 10. We visited the small towns of Corrales, Mayto, and Tehualmixtle to swim, snorkel (Rulon and Kathy shared their snorkeling gear), and eat food. The food everywhere is amazing, you can’t go wrong. We rented 4wheelers from a local in Tehualmixtle and rode around the beaches, and we zip lined on the property. A few tips: Your rental vehicles need to be 4 wheel drive. Pick up pesos in Puerto Vallarta, you can exchange $USD in some of the local restaurants but PV is easier. Touch up on your Spanish, this is very rural Mexico where the locals speak practically zero English. Pick up some grocery staples in PV for your stay, especially meats, the local abarrotes will only have limited groceries. You won’t have cell service so download any music, maps, etc Our trip was fantastic, we can’t recommend this property and the area enough.

Casa Bendita: Panoramic Views Steps to Beach!

ChrisRating, 5 stars14 months ago
We loved our stay at Marc and Michelle’s place. The sunrises from our bedroom were unbeatable and the views from the entire property were incredible. Marc and Michelle were amazing hosts and helped us beyond what you’d ever expect of a host. Looking forward to another stay here someday.

Las Tescalamas - Jungle Room

MikilRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This Airbnb felt more like a compound than a group of rooms for rent. The jungle reaches down and cradles this interesting and sprawling architecture. Curved open-air hallways and a weave of stairways tie the various buildings and stations together. The room itself (the Selva) was quite small but you will most likely be out and about except to sleep anyways. It's a short walk to get to this place but there isn't much in Yelapa that doesn't demand stairs and pathways so...it's fine. Definitely bring a flashlight for returning late at night to your room. Although one of the friendly beach dogs may decide to guide you. I don't know how they knew where I was going before I did.

Casa Tranquila (Quiet House) Oceanside Retreat

JamieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Casa Tranquila is an experience that stays with you. The photos are beautiful, but to truly feel it, you must see it for yourself. Before I arrived, I knew I had found a rare sanctuary—steps from the sea, thoughtfully designed, private, and serene. Every detail feels intentional: the green-tiled kitchen, the breezy rhythm of the surf, the light, the peace. I slept better here than I have in years, lulled by the ocean and waking to golden sunrises. The outdoor rain shower, the open-air living space, and local art make it perfect for creating, writing, and reflecting. Whether lounging in the hammock, sipping fresh coconut water, or stargazing, you’ll savor every moment. Communication with Mary Robin was seamless and gracious, from arranging a fresh fish dinner to recommending a sound bath in Yelapa. Casa Tranquila is the gift you didn’t know you needed—comfortable for solo travelers or couples. I’m already planning my return!

Palapa tropical 🌴 🛖🌿

JanisRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had an excellent stay overnight. The little hut was perfect and the mattress was comfortable. A great place to stay in the jungle near Yelapa. The folks running it were very kind! Had a delicious breakfast in the morning. Great area by the river to relax and so many beautiful plants on the property.

Casa Bella 4th Floor Ocean View

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Eulalia and Felipe were kind, responsive, friendly, and flexible. I should has had them show me how to work the oven and the fireplace because I couldn’t figure it out but the place was beautiful, comfy, and peaceful. It’s also Nextdoor to my very favorite restaurant Los Abuelos. I would love to visit again and stay at this or other properties hosted by the lovely couple.
