Apartment holiday rentals in Büyükada

Had a great couple of nights at Urban Quarters, it has a good locations and, being at the top of the apartment block, is above most of the noise and bustle of the town.

Great stay - flat is right on the heart of Istanbul and was exactly as described. View was stunning and definitely the highlight. Apartment was very well equipped and host was extremely responsive.

Staying with Erkan was an experience. The reception was warm, including a full refrigerator with drinks. The apartment with the terrace overlooking the Bosphorus is simply breathtaking. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious! The location was perfect and was within walking distance to all attractions. Erkan always took care of us and was always easy and quick to reach. I can highly recommend the apartment and will definitely take this apartment again on my next visit.

Reyhan's accommodation fully participated in making our visit to the city perfect! Ideally located in old Istanbul, we were able to easily travel back and forth between the places to visit and it, enjoy the surrounding restaurants (from the very good breakfast just at the foot of the accommodation to the aperitif in the vegetated courtyard of the Mansions a little further), as well as consider the majority of our trips on foot (to Taksim Square via the Galata bridge). Cosy, bright, very clean, well-equipped and spacious, it allowed us to rest when we needed it. And the icing on the cake, the terrace offers one of the most beautiful views, with, at an equal distance, Sainte Sophie and the Blue Mosque. To be contemplated without moderation from sunrise to sunset without having to share this point of view with a crowd. In short, an address that we will recommend and certainly share with our loved ones in the coming months!

I highly recommend staying at Ugur’s place. From the time we booked, till the end of the stay Ugur was super responsive and helpful. The views are just drop dead gorgeous (floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Bosphorus). The neighborhood feels like you are living and staying like a local and has modern furnishings. Wifi is excellent. You have to be ready to handle stairs but if in reasonably good shape, they are not a problem. Just avoid if uneven stairs are an issue but Istanbul is hilly and any local neighborhood would mean stairs. The best thing is Ugur’s responsiveness: we needed coffee pods, a tap fixed, airport transfer: all was organized in a minute… and shout out to Mohamed who so kindly helped with luggage and many things!

The house was nicer than it looked in the pictures. The location is very good and very close to everything. All the amenities mentioned in the house were abundantly available. The balcony was very pleasant. Ms. Shakti gave very good directions. They were flexible with the checkout time, and I am especially grateful for that. It was very easy to get into the house. The TV was a new model and platforms could be watched. We are thinking of coming back.

Nice apartment near Taksim Square good host, easy to move around on foot or by public transport. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. Communication with the host was excellent — very quick, friendly, and helpful. Check-in was smooth and everything was clearly explained. The apartment itself is just perfect — ideally located on a quiet street, yet just around the corner from cafes and shops. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator, but we were informed about that in advance — and honestly, the beautiful view is worth every step! You're just a short walk from the ferry dock, which makes it easy to explore different parts of Istanbul by boat. There are also many great sights within walking distance. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you might need, whether for a short or long stay. We combined work and vacation — and working with a view of the Bosphorus was pure joy. We would love to come back!

An absolutely amazing place to stay! Living room overlooks Galataport and we got to see quite a few large cruise ships. Loved all the resident kitties, one even had three kittens in the courtyard. Air conditioning is a godsend and the fan in the bedroom was perfect. Fair warning, it’s either up or down quite some stairs or a steep hill to get everywhere, but honestly we loved that. A great workout!

Had a fantastic stay! The flat was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was responsive and helpful. Great location too - T1 tram station, 5 minutes on funicular to Taksim square. Highly recommend!

A perfect place to explore Balat and further afield. Our taxi from the airport struggled to locate exact address of property and his vehicle didn't like the very narrow cobbled streets!!

Absolutely spotless and has everything you need : hairdryer, iron, kettle, coffee machine, stove, a workspace, great water pressure, etc. I feel really lucky to have caught available dates for this apartment. Just a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square, yet the apartment itself is in a quiet location. Thank you! Highly recommended!

I recommend Daria’s place 100%. The flat is cosy, contemporary and spacious, the location couldn’t be better! Lots of bars, restaurants and amenities all around not to mention the breathtaking view over the Bosphorus by the terrace and the view over Galata tower from the bay window. We had an amazing stay in Istanbul! The apartment is beautiful, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal — very close to the Suleymaniye Mosque and within walking distance to the tram, which can take you anywhere. Serhad was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

Two bedroom/two full bath apartment in the middle of the action - 7 min walk to the grand bazaar. The owner's uncle meets you to let you in and is very responsive if you need anything. The area is quite busy and full of traffic, but that is Istanbul. The apartment is on the 5th floor and the elevator is a little small but it dose the trick. Not luxury but very comfortable and very clean.

Great location , waking distance to many attractions

I stayed here for 6 weeks while I worked at a hospital nearby. The place is in a great location, with lots of cafes restaurants nearby. The house itself although quite small is lovely, cosy and clean. The view is amazing and the home was very well equipped for short term stays. I also felt very safe staying there as a solo female, security was great. Mehmet Selim was also very attentive and responsive. 10/10

Absolutely loved this place. It is on the 5th floor with no elevator, so if you are not for climbing stairs, this isn't your place. The staff did tote the luggage up and down. I personally wanted the exercise, and the view was worth it. I don't know that Istanbul offers a better view. Beware of the Galataport drop off. A LOT of stairs to get home even though it says .2-.3 mile walk. Every bit is stairs from the water. I would stay here again if visiting Istanbul

I had an unforgettable stay in the heart of Cihangir, in a peaceful and elegant location. This place is not just an accommodation but truly feels like a second home in Istanbul. Every detail has been meticulously considered: a spacious and comfortable living area, the pleasure of a home cinema experience on a large screen, a bright and quiet neighborhood… Even the bed, pillows, and dryer have been carefully chosen with comfort in mind. For those working remotely, this place is also an excellent choice! There is a dedicated workspace where you can comfortably take care of your business. Sara, made this experience even more special. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!

This Airbnb was a fantastic find! It easily ranks in my top three stays. The location was great, and there was plenty of space. The entire place was spotlessly clean, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Honestly, everything was pretty much perfect. We did experience some minor internet issues, but I believe that was beyond the host's control. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

I’ve been in many airbnbs and I have to say that Tao is one of the best for sure. His place is in a top notch location inside of Istanbul and his recommendations made our trip so much better.

This is an amazing place, located very near Taksim Square with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is beautiful. It has big rooms and fully renovated bathrooms. There is also a big terrace and a well equipped kitchen. The host is very friendly and responsive. The instructions to check in are clear. I couldn’t find anything negative. Highly recommended.
