The house is small and charming with a relaxing atmosphere. Quiet area where it is nice to go for walks on the road or along the river. Nice marked trails up the mountainsides are also nearby. Høgestølen is about 25 min from Hemsedal City Centre (Alpine Center), 15 min to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country skiing trails. The cabin is heated with electricity and wood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer The cabin is steep! Car road to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

It is eight minutes to drive to start of the alpine lift, and twenty minutes if you want to drive up the mountain. The cabin is located about 250 m from our farm where we have a small herd of Dexter cows. Dexter is one of the smallest cattle breeds in existence. Easy access from highway 7 (rv7), about 2 km. The cabin is located approx. 300 meters from our farm where we live. Proximity to the Bear Park in Flå and Langedrag, trail cycling, mountain tours and Skiing in Liemarka.
