Hi, Welcome to Raccoon Retreat! This is a house that you will be able to come to unplug, unwind and reconnect with family, friends and all of what nature has to offer. The home is located within the ‪Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area‬. Here you will have the opportunity to take advantage of hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming, zip lining, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking, as well as skiing or snowtubing during the snowy season. Though you get to experience nature here, you are only a short drive away from restaurants, casino, shopping and also water parks. The entire home is all yours! Our three story home sits on a one acre wooded lot. In the event you are just wanting to get away to hunker down here, we have designed the space to feel cozy and warm. You will find a full kitchen ready for you to prepare some home cooked meals, three bedrooms, two baths, a soaker tub and a deck for miles! The home has a private driveway with plenty of space for up to 5 vehicles. The cabin is in such a peaceful setting. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit, and listening to all kinds of birdsong. All the amenities made our stay comfortable, providing everything one would need at home. When we had questions, Danielle responded very quickly with helpful tips, answers, and suggestions.

Keith is so friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The Chalet was spotless and has games and toys inside for all ages. It was a perfect stay. He responds so quickly to texts and was so accommodating when we asked for a later checkout. We will definitely book Chalet Chalet again if we come back to Poconos.

I am in two minds about what to write in this review. On one hand, this property is truly mind blowing. It has been designed beautifully indoors and there is so much attention to detail. And then, the view…I’ve traveled a lot and the view blew my mind. On the other hand, I’m not sure I want too many other people to know about this gem..because I want to come back. And I am hoping this review doesn’t make that more difficult.

The home is a hidden gem. It’s a perfect mix of peace, cozy and fun! The space was spotless, comfy, and full of personality. Sampada was always responsive when we needed any help or any questions answered. We laughed, relaxed, and made some beautiful memories. We didn’t want to leave! Would definitely book again for another get away with my family.

Wonderful house on the creek A fabulous place to get away and relax. Excellent fitted out kitchen and pantry with condiments / herbs and cooking essentials - we cooked up a storm Lots of fireplaces including outdoor fire pit which was a hit. would highly recommend Eric's place.
