There are all kinds of beach - sand, rock beach..The position is perfect for bike and runing!

Katarina is the perfect host! She always responded very quickly and gave us a lot of very good recommendations for the region. My husband and I wanted a quiet and sunny hideaway during the grey and cold German winter and got what we were looking for: a very nice and cosy cottage with a beautiful garden with olive trees and lots of sun including beautiful sunsets in front of the cottage. There was enough firewood to warm up the cottage inside and make it even more cosy. We walked through the surrounding nature with our dog and made little day trips to the ocean and the surrounding cities. The food and wines in and around the nearby village Buje are delicious and we enjoyed a lot of good food with fresh fish and truffle. We absolutely recommend this place.

A dream house ideally suited for a dream holiday with the whole family. (10 adults, 1 child) Rene welcomed us very warmly and the check-in, as well as the checkout, were easy and uncomplicated. Everything was clean and very nice. Due to the beautiful weather, we were able to spend the whole day on the covered terrace with an outdoor kitchen or in one of the comfortable deckchairs next to the pool. We had a lot of fun playing darts, badminton and billiards - it was so much fun. My little granddaughter (2 years old) was also very happy about the playground and splashing in the pool. A small shop can be reached in a few minutes by car, Lidl and Spar in about 10 minutes. VERY RECOMMENDED!

Villa Motovun is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. The house has been renovated with such care to detail, it has kept the traditional character but is completely modernised with all amenities you would need. We loved the colour schemes, the materials used. It was so comfortable, with many seating areas, very comfortable, large beds (super important!), every room with en-suite bathroom. The views from the terrace of the Mirna valley and Groznjan in the distance are stunning. We loved having the little heated pool, the sauna and the pool table. The local wine ‘mini bar’ was also nice and we could help ourselves to a bottle of local Malvasia or Teran. All in all a gem in a beautiful medieval hilltop town, walkable to some really good restaurants serving amongst other things, local homemade pasta with truffles, or wild asparagus in the spring. Thank you Zeljko for your hospitality. We hope to be back again soon.

Villa Selest, luxury house in Istria with pool

There were four of us staying at the property for 9 nights as a family. As stated in the other reviews, the house is very rural and good 10 minutes from the nearest beach. The map in the description is misleading. There are no restaurants or shops directly at the house. These are probably about 15 minutes away in Umag. We did not use the pool as we were in Croatia in the low season. The house itself is as described. 2 beautiful bedrooms each with their own bathroom and finally a closet for clothes. Bring mosquito spray! Restaurants are plentiful and delicious in the area in 15 minutes by car. Tip here: La Parenzana near Buje. Cycling is also good both road bike and Graveler. The latter beautiful on the former railway line Parenzana. To summarize, we felt very comfortable. The price is justified in the low season.
