If you're into backcountry exploring & doing things on skis, snow-shoes or mountain bikes, our yurt is a fabulous jumping off point for you. Situated a stone's throw from Section 17 of the Catamount Trail, VT's end-to-end x-country ski trail, you will discover both moderate and advanced adventures here. Rugged but cozy, our yurt warms up quickly thanks to its resident "Aspen" wood stove. Add a charming outhouse, farm pump, deck & picnic table to the picture, and you'll be camping in style.

Hillside campsite at Barnbrook

Escape to this remote site surrounded by trees. This private site sits on 20 acres with plenty of woods to explore. The site is located at the top of a hill overlooking the valley. Site includes a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill. There is no WiFi or water at the site, however you can access WiFi and a hose with potable water by our house which is about 100 yards from the site. There is a brook at the bottom of the driveway leading to the site that you also may access.

Get back to nature! This is a quite riverside primitive campsite. NO BATHROOMS so everything is natural. Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!

Camping on a Private Pond

A serene place in nature to unplug and unwind. It's private and quiet with the exception of the sound of the running brook. (NO WIFI or CELL service at the cabin) May come to the house if you need to get in touch during your stay. There is local hiking and two large lakes close by. Farmer's markets and acclaimed theatre are available throughout the Fall Season along with local beer-fests. Most of all, we have one of the most stunning foliage seasons in the country!

The Campsite is Located in the field across from our home hidden by a row of large pine trees w/a spectacular view from all sides! We provide a fire pit w/grate to cook on, charcoal Bbq grill, Hose for running H20, solar shower, rustic outhouse. Bring TP. Bundles of firewood can be purchased $5 each. no cell/wifi. Next to ATV trails(brushwood rd) Come enjoy this beautiful Cloud 9 Campsite!!!

VT Mountain Paradise Camping

Relax at this peaceful 140-acre mountain retreat. Enjoy serene hikes, a refreshing swim in the pond, peaceful streams, and visits with the horses and ducks. It has the basics—a gas stove, toaster, water, table and chairs, plates, silverware, and more.
