we had a great stay here. It was just a short scenic walk away from buey asakusa but felt peaceful and local. we could not believe how quiet it was! finding it and using provided codes was easy. Room was spacious for Tokyo and the price paid. Would book again!

Location/size/ price wise this apartment is amazing. Very big compared to what you can get elsewhere and close to 2 metro station in a very dynamic neighborhood of Tokyo.

The hospitality here is unlike any place I’ve stayed. Not to mention it was extremely clean and the town was very pleasant. The host and other staff were so friendly and kind. Anytime I had questions or concerns they responded attentively and were so helpful. Yawen gave many local recommendations, and all of the restaurants we tried were amazing! If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s right outside of Tokyo, stay here! I couldn’t recommend it more. 🩷 I can’t wait to come back! Thanks again!

There's no real difference between the photos and the actual thing, and it's the same. It was so clean, and it was easy to find, and the location was so, so, so good. It wasn't far from the center, so it was perfect. It's an accommodation I want to come back to next time. I'm completely satisfied.

Our stay at Oki’s place was perfect. It’s conveniently located near Takadanobaba Station on the Yamanote Line, making it easy to access tourist spots. Plenty of restaurants and a 7-Eleven are nearby. The apartment is spacious—great for our family of five. We stayed on the top floor, which had two twin beds in one room, a tatami room for two, a full bathroom, and upstairs, two more beds, a bathroom with shower, and rooftop access. Few places in Tokyo would offer this much space along with a washer and dryer. There’s also a gym and rec room on the first floor, which looked clean though we didn’t use them. What made our stay truly special was Oki-san. I had trouble getting Ghibli Museum tickets, and he helped us get them—an unforgettable gesture. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend Oki’s place.

Great stay! Highly recommend the ramen place shared by Hideyuki. Close to the Asakusa line and a few temples are walking distance. Overall 5/5. Worth mentioning: the stairs were a bit narrow so please be cautious if members of your party have disabilities.

Location was great, close to the subway. The host gave lot of food and drink recommendations and even gave us early check in and late check out options which helped our plans a lot! Only thing to be mindful of is lots of stairs if you are travelling with seniors. 2 bedrooms are on 3rd floor and 1 is on the first floor. The toilets and bathrooms are all on the first floor. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Overall a great place to stay in. Ample space to move around plus the beds were comfortable. The elevator in the house was a great help in bringing our luggages up and down and also after a long tiring day of walking. Lots of shops and dining around the area. Convenience stores and the metro station are walkable. Jerry is a great host and replies within a few minutes.

Had a great stay here with my dad, and my brother's family with my young niece. Location is a bit of a walk from the nearest train station but I enjoyed the walks to and fro as it was a good break from the hectic train rides. Bedrooms were great and the showers were of a good size. Kitchen area on the 2nd floor and with the projection tv was great to heat up food and to wind down at the end of the day. Owaki also was of great assistance and helped us to prepare a baby cot for my niece which she enjoyed greatly. Highly recommended if the location would fit your itinerary and great value! :)

We loved staying here with our group of 10! We expected a small space considering Japanese housing, but this home was exactly what we needed. The rooms are great, the kitchen is spacious, and having the two showers with washer and dryer kept us clean all week long. Would definitely recommend to large groups traveling. The location was also great, with train and bus access and lots of fun restaurants and things to do locally.

Akira's property was exactly has the photos no editing done on this property. Easy to get to from our arrival from Narita Airport. Very rare to have accommodation for her listed price with 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets close to transport and easy access from the airport. I will definitely pass on this accommodation details if anyone is interested in going to Tokyo. Antonio

kazu was a fantastic host and the house was wonderful for me and my family. the train line is a short walk and right next to a cute little park. we went to the grocery store every night to pick up our breakfast for the next day. the house was perfect for us and had everything we needed for our trip. thank you kazu!!!

I have stayed at one of Yin's Kami-kitazawa properties before so that should say a lot about my trust in this Airbnb. It looks better than in the pictures and is a very charming location. There's plenty of privacy thanks to the layout, sliding door that separates the bathroom and shower space, and shades that can be pulled down to separate the desk area from the bed areas. The wifi was great on my laptop, even for video calls. Having a washer and dryer was extremely useful, and the shower temperature was perfect. The AC and heater were also extremely effective. For those who want a comfortable bed, the sofa bed is very cushiony but still firm. I slept on the bunkbed. You can feel the springs in the mattress, and that did not bother me but those with sensitive backs might want a cushion. I slept well! You can also sometimes hear people upstairs but that is the case with many residential Japan places. It did not bother us. I want to stay here again. Thank you for the amazing Airbnb 🙏

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

The tower was nice but I underestimated the stairs

We had a wonderful time at Villa Kamakura. Toshi is truly the perfect host. Even before we arrived, we were provided with plenty of useful information, also with many tips about the area, rarely we have experienced such a great service. And the apartment itself was also just great and very well located. There was nothing missing, you had a great view, the bed was very comfortable. We will be happy to come back! :)

Our group had a very enjoyable stay. Definitely enjoyed being so close to restaurants and a subway station. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. A nice cozy home away from home. 😁

First of all Toshi is an amazing host, proactive and caring. He helped us with many things and he responded with patience and politeness. The villa/apt is nice and cozy, it has everything you need. Large tv, comfy bed and a fantastic small kitchen. The only thing is the bath is a little high on the edge which can be a little hard to climb over, but that’s not a deal breaker. Thank you Toshi!
