Trudi's Terrace lies a steep 250m walk up from the taxi drop-off point. We welcome guests from all around the world to experience the enigma that is the Matterhorn. Trudi's Terrace has two cosy, comfortable and stylish bedrooms. We have two modern bathrooms. Our kitchen is the heart of the apartment. It is where we gather to cook, eat and watch Netflix. Note: Zermatt is currently in the middle of a building boom. Unfortunately a crane has been temporarily erected in front of the Matterhorn.

We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . Close to the towns of Valtournenche and Cervinia (about 3 km) but still isolated from the chaos, it is the ideal place to relax, observe enchanting views, listen to the silence of the mountain, play sports and take fantastic walks starting right from the house!

“La casa del bucato” was so called because it is located near the wash house that once (and sometimes still today) was used by the women of the village to do laundry, “l'ansiva” in fact.
