This independent accommodation was designed on the ground floor of a beautiful stone barn located next to our house, facing Allagnat Castle. A large bay window overlooks the garden that you can enjoy. In the heart of the Chaîne des Puys, on the edge of a forest known for its magnificent beech forest, Allagnat is dominated by its medieval castle and surrounded by multiple hiking trails. 80 m2 house of character in a quiet village. You will be seduced by its location at the end of a cul-de-sac which makes it a peaceful place close to nature, by its many terraces which will allow you to enjoy the shade or the sun depending on your mood, and by its geographical location in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys and very close to the Massif du Sancy, Clermont-Ferrand and the Zenith. Perfect for a family (except with small children) or for hikers.

We welcome you in an old renovated barn combining modernity and old world charm. You will find 4 bedrooms (including a master suite with shower and bathtub and dressing room) that can accommodate 9 people. A large living space with a kitchen open to the dining room. Welcome to the Plateau des Combrailles, at the gates of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Park, and facing the Chaîne des Puys. Vincent, Caroline and I (Christine) welcome you to our cottage! We are available to you throughout your stay if needed. All bedrooms have their own private bathrooms (shower rooms and toilet) and bed linens and towels are provided. Very well equipped kitchen, barbecue, pool table and pétanque court.

This is an accommodation created in a former Anglican chapel, located in a village well-endowed with shops, Pontgibaud. Close to Clermont-Ferrand, 22 km away, 10 km from Vulcania, Puy de Dôme, next to the Sioule, many possible walks, hikes, mountain biking... Easy access by highway, exit 3 km from the accommodation, parking on the ground possible. Stone terrace. Comfortable. Quiet.

The Observatory (Cabin, Eco-lodge)

Small peaceful haven in a green setting. The cabin is in symbiosis with nature while having all modern comforts (hot water, heating, very good wood wool insulation). Ideally located 19 km from Puy de Dôme, 18 km from Aulnat Airport, 17 km from Vulcania and 13 km from Clermont-Ferrand. The cabin is a perfect base for hikes.
