Our serene cottage sits on 16 private acres on the north end of Greenland Cove in Muscongus Bay. A short walk will get you to the ocean to swim off the rocks, stroll on our fern covered paths and take in the breathtaking views of the cove and nearby estuary and salt pond. There is a large amount of bird and sea life, including bald eagles, blue heron, osprey, seals and plenty of fish. 15 minutes to town. Located in a historic 200 year old building "Ship Shape" is close to downtown but on a quiet tree-lined residential street. It is just one block to the library, bookstore, post office and all the lovely shops. It is on the shore of the Damariscotta River with wonderful views from inside and out.. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the light, the outdoor space, and the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
