Cabin holiday rentals in Break O'Day Council

The cabin is an absolutely gorgeous space and has everything you would need to enjoy your time in Derby. It’s been really thoughtfully put together - and that morning sun in the living and kitchen area is divine! Julia is a responsive and helpful host - when we reached out with some questions she quickly responded and sorted out what we needed.

Wow, wow, wow…we have just left Whale Song behind but will always have a little place in our hearts. We had such a special stay with our 19 month old, slow mornings on the deck, bacon sandwiches on the little private beach at the bottom of house, afternoons collecting shells at the lagoon- the perfect slow and relaxing holiday! The place was just beautiful and a gorgeous shack to unwind in.

From the moment we walked up to the house we were drawn to the river front, absolutely stunning. The sound of silence! Wild life everywhere. We made use of the kayaks (new hobby incoming). This place is worth every scent from the quirky/eclectic decor to the hot tub and deck on the river. We will definitely be back! If I could give more than 5 stars it would be 100 👌

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mannaburne Cabin. Little hard to get to at first and the last bit of road is certainly a bit of a challenge but once we got there we were thrilled with it. Beautiful tranquil setting and the cabin itself is stunning the way it is set up. Very tastefully decorated and everything provided that you need for a comfartable stay. Fully functinable kitchen and comfy bed. Massive shower and good water pressure. The only thing for us that let it down a bit was the garden around it that doesn't seem to get looked after any more and the fact that the outside couch (which would he really lovely to lay on and relax) doesn't get covered and obviously little and large animals go and use it as their toilet......hence quite smelly and not that pleasant. Also found the windows and doors quite dirty. Anyway.....all in all had a wonderful stay there and would recommend it to everyone.

We loved our stay at this cosy cottage in Binalong Bay. It had everything we needed for a relaxed family getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and really well set up, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and lots of thoughtful touches. It had a great warm, welcoming feel and was perfect for coming back to after a day at the beach or exploring the Bay of Fires. The location was ideal, close to beautiful beaches and local walks but nice and quiet too. It was exactly what we were looking for — easy, comfortable, and stress-free. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

This is a very beautiful area. The Bush Cabin is modest as expected in amenities and decor. The wood fire was great and although we had a few difficulties with amenities, Casey the manager was very responsive and reasonable in getting them sorted. We would stay there again.

We are from China and traveled to Tasmania with my husband's cousin to complete our honeymoon journey. The experience of playing board games by the seaside was absolutely fantastic！Thank you for providing such a warm and blissful cottage!

The house was perfect. Two good sized bedrooms and nice lounge/kitchen with deck and views across the valley. Walkable location to shops. Great laundry facilities and secure bike storage area where we could also charge the hired mtn e- bikes. The location is quiet as it is off the main road so got a good nights sleep. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Rosie’s place was fantastic, only 5 mins from St Helen’s in a lovely busy setting it had everything you need

We had 2 great nights staying in the cabin, such a peaceful spot with wonderful views of the ocean and bush. It’s just a 3-minute drive to Bicheno town and a short drive to Freycinet, making it a perfect base to explore the area. Cozy, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Stayed at Matyns properties a few times and they are all amazing and communication is easy. I will stay there again for sure
