This very small, compact cottage is in a rural setting, off the beaten path. It is about a 12 minute drive to Middlebury where you can find shops, restaurants and Middlebury College. Burlington is about 40 minutes north of where we are located. Hiking/skiing in the Green Mountains, fly fishing in the nearby New Haven River, boating/swimming on Lake Champlain, and enjoying the many local craft breweries and wineries are some of the many activities you have access to from this beautiful spot.

Relax around the fire while listening to our resident owls or stare up at the stars through the dome. We're centrally located to some of the best hiking and swimming skiing in Central Vermont. Mt Abe and Bartlett's Falls are the closest options. We're also close to civilization with several towns close by to explore for food, drink, art, and shopping. Enjoy miles of gravel biking from the door or go to Moosalamoo or Rochester for prime mountain biking trails. In the evening, sit on the deck under a blanket of stars and warm your toes by the fire.

A 3-minute walk leads you through gardens and pasture, to Ravenwood, a small, intimate cabin with everything you need. Be it an extended weekend tucked in seclusion, amongst the birds, river and trees, or find the comforts of a 37 acre small farm nestled in the mountains and settle in, working from afar. Top shelf skiing at Sugarbush is near, along with Vermont's finest grub and beer.

Our 88-acre farm spreads up a steep hillside above the village of Randolph, one mile away. The land is a mixture of open areas where we rotate our sheep flock daily, and wooded land with trails and old stone walls. You might hear the occasional car or truck on a nearby road, but more likely you'll hear our sheep baaing to one another or the cows across the valley trumpeting, or the abundance of birdsong. The energy here is calming and peaceful--we know you will love it as much as we do.
