This was perfect for our stay with two kids and a baby, James was so kind to provide a pack and play and place was clean with everything we needed! Only downside was the elevators were broken so that provided a chance to get in some extra steps, but hard when we were trying to run away from the mosquitoes!

We enjoyed our getaway at this lovely condo. The balconies provided us with gorgeous bay and gulf views, and the patio furniture made it a joy to relax and take in the surroundings. The bedrooms were very nice, the beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were all new and very easy to use. Our host was so kind and attentive.

Loved the condo, location and beach club. James was extremely responsive. Great visit. Will be back.

Even with a tropical storm near the gulf, we LOVED our stay! It was the perfect place for our family of 4. Great view from the balcony, walkable to the pool, a short drive to the beach. We loved having dinner and family game night at the large table. Peaceful mornings spent drinking coffee and lounging on the balcony and couches were a perfect start to our days. We will definitely be staying at Pointe West again when we visit Galveston. The place was perfectly clean, beds were comfy, and the bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. Would have loved for their to have been beach/pool towels, but we were warned we needed to bring our own, I just overlooked that part. Excellent vacation condo, highly recommend!

We have a family tradition to stay at Pointe West every Easter and this home suits our needs perfectly. Second time here because the host Monica is amazing and so helpful/flexible. We honestly have no complaints!! It is a beautiful view from the Condo and easy to walk out to the beach and the pool area. Thank you.

I love where it was located between Galveston and Freeport

The location is further down the island away from the busy touristy areas. The beach club amenities were easily accessible by golf cart. The lazy river was a hit and the food was delicious. Very relieved not to have to cross a busy road with children to get to the beach. We enjoyed our ride through the natural environment spotting wild life. Great adventure with the grandkids!

We have stayed at Pointe West many times over the years and Joan’s place stands out! It was clean and comfortable and well kept. We loved being able to have our family dog with us and while it is a pet friendly place it was perfectly clean. Thanks!

We loved James’ place! We took a family trip and it was perfect for our entire family. Great location close to the beach, great amenities, spacious house, and very clean as well. We will be back!

This condo was great for my family with 3 young kids who loved the heated lazy river and pool with shallow areas for them to play. These were right at the condo, whereas the restaurant and infinity pool are down the road. You have to purchase wristbands to use the pool for anyone 4 years and older. There were beach towels and sand toys for the kids which was great. We loved how quiet it was away from the main town but it was at least 30 minutes to most main areas of Galveston which we didn’t mind. We would definitely come back again!

Love staying here when we go to Surfside. We have stayed at this address 3 times now in 2 different units. No shoes necessary to get to beach! Walk down the stairs from the unit, and you are on the beach. We always stay in the lower units … not the top ones. The porches on the lower units get the shade from the units above them. The kitchen supplies aren’t great. We bring our own sharp knives, frying pan and ziplock bags or storage containers. The space is minimal and functional. Just what I want for the beach, frankly. Bed was really, really comfortable and we slept great each night. Great location. Best location on Surfside, IMO. The beach is much less crowded here compared to the locations closer to the bridge. And there are 2 restaurants walking distance as well as ice cream shop even closer. 979 properties is very responsive. Never had any problems with them.

Vira was such a great host. She was very responsive with any questions that I had. The ice machine in the refrigerator did have some white powder substance coming out, so we decided to just nto use the ice. Otherwise, the home was very nice and comfortable. The proximity to the heated pool was excellent. Vira allowed us to get in early at 12pm, which was great so our 1 year old could take a nap. Check in and out instructions were very easy to follow. Weather was slightly chilly for spring break, so the ocean was pretty cold. So staying by the heated pool was so nice. Would definitely recommend staying at Vira's place!

The condo was homey and located on the bay side. We brought a golf cart so it was easy to travel to the beach club to eat and enjoy the pool. The beds were comfy and the towels were thick and absorbent. The home had many items that you don’t think of when packing, but end up needing (pens, scissors, spices, board games, aluminum foil, etc). Parking was easy and everyone had a great time.

We truly enjoyed this pretty, spacious and very well appointed condo! Huge balcony with a very nice view, lots of thoughtful places indoors for our personal items. We also appreciated the assigned covered parking and elevator. The pools are AMAZING! The main club pool is almost like being on a cruise ship. Beautiful! It was crowded for Memorial Day, but there was still plenty of room to enjoy it. Bands on certain nights, a dining room and bar service. Nice!! We had an A/C concern over the weekend that was fully resolved within 2 hours by a very friendly on-call agent. We were really impressed! We’d love to make this a regular getaway!

This condo was perfect! The pictures actually didn’t know justice for how it actually looked. I was nervous at first because the pictures made it look way smaller than it actually was., overall we had a really good experience, the pool was a plus! Also, the host was very attentive to every question I had before arrival.

Always enjoy visiting Pointe West. Really loved this condo! It was decorated really well and was perfect for our family. Will definitely be back.

We had a great stay. The home was clean & comfortable. The amenities were great as well! We had a small issue with the condo but the host responded within the hour and it was a simple fix. Plan to stay again at our next trip to Galveston

Home away from home. This place was outstanding. Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. This is a great condo and a wonderful host. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was perfect. Will be coming back to stay again. Thank you Wagdy for such a wonderful time.

This was our second time staying here because we loved it so much the first time! Beautiful home, very clean and comfortable. Our kids especially loved the bunk room and toys.

A clean and large condo with beautiful bay views. I loved waking up in the morning and watching all of the birds in the bay from the balcony. The condo was clean and had most of the amenities that we needed. The location is peaceful. We love to walk so the quarter mile walk to the beach was fun. Definitely rent a golf cart if you plan to bring a lot of items to the beach. Overall the condo the area is peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay. The balcony had the best view of the Bay. The sunsets were amazing! The condo is very spacious & had everything we needed. The amenities were so nice. We rented a golf cart & it was so much fun. We would definitely rent this condo again, it was fabulous.
