This is a elegant retreat on two levels including a large kitchen/dining room, downstairs bathroom and upstairs bedrooms and living area. For families there are child locks, stair gates, cot and high chair available upon request. Part of the downstairs is locked off for work space and will be in use through the day. There are two entrances so your stay will remain private. The View is on a small estate

Which in Shetland is a rare sight; as trees are hard to come by. If you're a bird watcher or keen walker then you'll love staying here. The House was in fact featured on BBC's Scotland Home of the year in 2021. The judges praised the house as being a place of comfort without losing the traditional feel of the croft.

The garden has been used many times as a view point for birdwatchers, orca hunters and otter spotters. See cute lambs at the fence in spring and later in the year large pods of neesiks (porpoise) regularly visit the bay.

This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

East-Gate was built new in 2018 the property is located in central Shetland and beautifully finished. Outside the patio door takes you onto a decked area which you can sit out on for your morning cuppa or evening glass of wine or to simply take in the scenery . It has the latest air to air heating and air con. We are very lucky to have a hot spot for otter sighting on our door step just a short walk down the field. The sea views and coastal walks makes this an ideal tranquil location.

Driftwood Cottage was the perfect base for our holiday to Shetland. We don't think we could have found anywhere better on the Islands! It exceeded our expectations. The cottage had everything we needed, with so many thoughtful additions too. We loved the colourful and eclectic decoration. There was plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room and a restful bedroom. The large walk-in shower, with plenty of hot water, was great! The location is amazing! We had views out across the sea and Shetland ponies next door. We even had a curlew in the garden one day! We had some wild weather during our stay, and Driftwood Cottage was a warm, welcoming and peaceful place to retreat to, after a day of rain and gales! It was definitely a home-from-home.
