Hilltop Lodge is a beautiful detached timber building set in enclosed garden (perfect for dogs). It's open plan, with a wood-burning stove to keep you warm on an evening, with well-equipped kitchen and dining area. It has large windows with lots of natural light. The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on with comfortable outdoor seating. It’s a great base for relaxing, enjoying wildlife, adventuring, or being creative. 11am checkout.

It's perfect for exploring the fells of the North Pennines, a country walk or ride, visiting the towns and villages of the Eden Valley or just taking time out surrounded by books and art.

Jitty is open plan complete with kitchen, living room, bathroom and gallery bedroom with a small outdoor seating area to rear. Open plan layout is not suitable for children.

The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! The Cushion Cottage is situated right next door to the Crown and Cushion a super pub and tea room serving food all day from 8am (ideal for breakfast) in the centre of Appleby in Westmorland , the Lounge, Diner and fully fitted Kitchen along with the family bathroom with bath and separate shower are situated on the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms downstairs one with a double bed and one with two single beds, both have their own TV, Complementary Wi-Fi is available.
