One of the many local amenities include, the Ballyhoura mountains, perfect for hikers or keen mountain bikers.

Walking distance to shops, pubs, pharmacy, postoffice, takeaways, hair salons, church, Awbeg & Blackwater Fishing, and close to the Blackwater Castle grounds.
