Part of Perthi Holiday Cottages, Ty Hebog is a characterful Grade II 17th-century barn on our working mountain farm above Beddgelert. With original beams and a cosy log burner, it offers a warm retreat. Perfect for couples and hikers, we’re 7 mins from the Rhyd Ddu Snowdon path, with rugged mountain trails starting from your door. In the heart of our farm, the barn offers a secluded feel with Eryri views from your private patio and the occasional visits from our sheep and free-roaming chickens.

Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

You are only 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Borth y Gest. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. Tegfryn is located in the stunning and unspoilt village of Borth y Gest. The semi-detached house benefits from stunning sea and mountain views and has been awarded a 5 star rating by Visit Wales. Tegfryn sleeps 8 people (plus one cot). There is spacious living accommodation downstairs with a kitchen/ diner, a front lounge, a rear sitting room and a WC. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs; two king (one with en-suite), one twin and one bunk. There is also a family bathroom located upstairs.

Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.
