Beautiful ground floor apartment with fabulous views of Snowdonia and Glaslyn estuary. Garden is adjacent to Porthmadog Harbour. The sitting room looks directly onto the Harbour where you can watch the boats, trains, bird life and ever changing sea and sky. The property is on the Welsh Coastal Path. There is a free numbered parking space outside the apartment. It is in a very quiet spot, but also very close (walking distance) to shops, cafes and pubs and the Ffestiniog steam railway station.

The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. Tegfryn is located in the beautiful and unspoilt village of Borth y Gest. The semi-detached house benefits from incredible sea and mountain views and has been awarded a 5 star rating by Visit Wales. Tegfryn sleeps 8 people (plus one cot). There is spacious living accommodation downstairs with a kitchen/ diner, a front lounge, a rear sitting room and a WC. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs; two king (one with en-suite), one twin and one bunk. There is also a family bathroom located upstairs.

The owner is knowledgeable about the area and can recommend places to visit, including excellent local restaurants and pubs, all accessible by bus and train.
