B&B de Bovenbouw: Loft in a characteristic school

In the school building where we live as a family, we have transformed the upper building into a B&B. In the 5-meter-high room, we built a loft where there is a double bed and 2 children's rooms. We give sports lessons in the gym, feel free to join in or go monkeying with your children when it rains. Outside they can feed the chickens, pick up eggs, play in the square and directly in front of the school is a playground. At 5 minutes distance, there is a beach/nature reserve. Good to know: it is without breakfast.

Our 2-person Canadian canoe and our 3 bicycles are available for rent at a reasonable price.

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

To get to the beach, only the island road has to be crossed. At low tide, there is the possibility of extensive hikes such as the North Sea. Bremen, Bremerhaven and Oldenburg can be reached in about 40 minutes by car. On the island there is a beach with gastronomy from March to October. Shopping 6-8 km away.
