Authentic sailing ship Vrouwezand: Peace and quiet!

The Vrouwezand is a historic sailing ship and sails in the summer over the mudflats and IJsselmeer. In winter, it is located in the city center of Groningen in a unique location, and can be rented as accommodation for music and/or culture lovers. The cozy living room has an open kitchen with an extensive inventory, including a catering oven and 2 refrigerators (together 250 liters). Yvonne van Scheijen, biologist and skipper/owner, lives in the skipper's house at the back, and is happy to welcome you on board.

Enjoy a relaxing stay on this luxury sailing yacht in the old center of Enkhuizen. You always book the entire yacht for yourself. You can enjoy a lovely walk here, visit numerous museums, dine or have a drink on one of the terraces on the water. Sailing with this classic two-master is also possible, with our experienced skipper. There are 2 showers with hot water on board plus 2 toilets. The yacht is located within 300 meters of the train station. We look forward to seeing you on board!

Full ship in the heart of Sneek

What could be more special than spending the night on an old inland barge in the heart of Sneek? This 100 year old ship has been completely converted into accommodation and is located just 10 minutes walk from the centre. Boating with the Hydra is also possible. For €25,- per person we offer a 3.5 hour cruise. Via IJlst, Heeg, the Sneekermeer and the city center of Sneek. Prefer a night or a whole weekend away? That's also possible. Please note: we only rent to mix and women's groups.

This beautiful family ship is fully equipped. There is a fully equipped kitchen, internet and toilet. There are 8 beds spread over a captain’s cabin, a room in the front and a fixed bunk bed next to the aisle. Showers are possible in the shower complex in the harbor, where 16 showers are available for you. You can also sail to Amsterdam and stay there for the night for example, or sail on the IJsselmeer or North Sea. We would like to tell you what is possible with our beautiful boat.

Sleeping on the water on the Moana

Welcome aboard! The Moana is for rent from July 2023. A cosy 9.5 metre boat on the Alkmaardermeer. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, the beautiful view and the setting sun, after which you will be lulled to sleep and hear the water gurgling in the background. PLEASE NOTE: the boat is located on an island which can only be reached by a manually operated ferry. It operates between sunrise and sunset. After this time, you won't be able to get on or off the island.

Beautiful houseboat located in the city center

This houseboat is situated in the old part of Heerenveen, formerly one of the important peat routes through Friesland. You look out over the Herenwal, the street of Heerenveen with the most beautiful canal houses that lead to the center. At the end of this canal is the bowl, which you can recognize by the large pancake ship which is atmospherically lit in the evening. Here you will also find the posthouse theatre and the cozy street full of catering establishments!

Deck and wheelhouse in Hoorn (parking available)

The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

Cozy cottage on the Lauwersmeer

Our kotter, Lady B sits in the Lauwersmeer marina at the edge of Lauwersmeer National Park. The place for nature lovers, bird watchers and peace seekers. The port is close to Landal park Esonstad and visitors can use facilities such as the restaurants the supermarket, playground, etc. Perfect mix between peace and quiet. What an experience to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the back deck of your ship, while enjoying something tasty and nice company.

Cozy stay for family or small party of up to 10 people on sailing ship the Stanfries. From October to April, the ship is a 5-minute walk from the center of Groningen on a beautiful quiet berth.
