Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Boone County

Guest House on Grant was perfect for my family. We were in COMO for my son's graduation from Mizzou. It's close enough that we didn't have a long drive to his apartment downtown or to the arena, but far enough that it was peaceful. Since the weather was fantastic all weekend, we utilized the three-season room as much as possible. We loved the open layout upstairs. My 3 sons had their own space downstairs with the large TV and recliners (which they want in our house now, thanks ^_^). Bobbi and Johnathon were great with communication and answered my questions quickly. I'm sad that we found this place for graduation and not for freshman year move in!

This is a great house and we especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen. They truly provide everything you need to cook meals and there is plenty of space for a large group to cook, eat, and hang out together. Also the house is adorable and comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here as often as we can when visiting our daughters at Mizzou.

This home was a perfect place for us to stay for our son’s graduation. We were able to be all together yet have room to spread out. With restaurants being so busy on graduation weekend we enjoyed cooking in their well stocked kitchen and eating at their large dining table or out on their screened in porch where we spent most mornings and even a candlelight dinner. The family room was large and cozy too. Just a perfect comfortable home to gather. Ed and Yang couldn’t have been sweeter and more communicative. They met us at check in and checked in on us in the app during our stay just in case we needed anything. They even left a gift and card for our son! The property is set in a pristine forest and even more beautiful and peaceful than we expected. Highly recommended —this is a unique stay and beautiful home!

Our stay at Kirstens was great we had everything we needed. It was perfect gathering place for family. It was fun staying together and not having to leave to separate hotel rooms. Very comfortable house with all the amenties.

The space was exactly as described—beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked, and super comfortable. You can tell Nathan really cares about his guests; every detail was well thought out, from the soft linens to the little touches that made us feel right at home. Communication was smooth and responsive the entire time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would 100% book again. Highly recommend!

Great location on the grounds of a winery. Stellar deck overlooking the MO river. Conveniently located close to CoMo but far enough away to feel like you are also getting away! Love it and will be back!

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cara’s place for our 20th college reunion! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. Communication with the host was seamless—friendly, fast, and helpful. I highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to Columbia!

Lovely home in good location. Very much enjoyed the local art and the Mizzou memorabilia that donned the walls. Tastefully decorated to enhance the midcentury era in which it was built and oh, so very well appointed! From towels and toiletries to candy dishes (full😋) and kitchen supplies, you’ll find most anything you might need. The beds were comfy and there is more than enough room for 8-10. Bonus points for the allowance of pets for a $50 fee, so we were able to bring our 11 year old Aussie with us. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

I would say Lydia‘s place was the most comfortable peaceful place. I’ve stayed in an Airbnb in a long time and I stay in a lot of Airbnb‘s. I worked long hours so I mostly just slept there and took a shower, but it was perfect for what I needed. The kitchen was very accessible. The parking was great. The bed was fantastic. I hope she will have me back when I’m in the Columbia area again.

We loved our stay here. It was a great place. Kids loved the pool. The interior was comfortable and clean. Toys for little and shows for all. Everything we needed in the kitchen and washer and dryer to use. Kimberly was a delight and very helpful. She took great care of us and we are grateful for her.

Funky little spot right in the middle of downtown. I always like staying downtown when I’m in Columbia for board meetings at Mizzou, keeps me from having to rent a car and I can walk everywhere. I was thrilled to find this space right in the middle of everything. Only thing I will say is that if you have ambulatory issues, there are a few steps to get into the apartment.
