Mycket mysigt hus i en liten trevlig by! Smidigt att ta sig till och från Ljubljana och andra ställen med tåg (tåget låg 2 minuter ifrån med gång). Värdarna var väldigt trevliga och boendet var fräscht och fint. Rekommenderar till 100% 🔝

Abbiamo passato il Capodanno in questa baita incantata nel cuore del bosco, un posto che sembra davvero uscito da una fiaba. Eravamo due coppie con i nostri cani e non potevamo desiderare un luogo migliore per accogliere il 2025. La baita è accogliente, immersa nella natura e perfetta per chi cerca pace e autenticità. Tina, l’host, è stata estremamente disponibile e gentile, il che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Unico piccolo consiglio: essendo una casa per sei persone, potrebbe essere utile aggiungere qualche accessorio in cucina, come pentole o utensili per cucinare, ma è davvero un dettaglio rispetto a tutto il resto, che è stato semplicemente epico. Consiglio assolutamente questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza unica e indimenticabile!

The wellness retreat was a real getaway in Slovenia! The place was spotless and surrounded by beautiful nature. The little town had a supermarket with everything you need. The house was beautiful and had a lot of facilities. We made good use of the big and well-equipped kitchen, indoors and outdoors. A BBQ and outdoor stone oven to make real summer meals! The saunas were a real addition to our holiday. Igor always replied really fast to our questions and text and was a very welcoming person.

Wow wow wow! What an incredible stay with incredibly helpful, kind, friendly hosts. This was such a lovely “destination” stay, a way to experience rural Slovenian living and culture. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but well worth it for the stay and experience. Thank you and hvala!

It’s a magical place and we felt right at home. Sven was there to receive us and showed us around the property. The view is amazing and peaceful. Couldn’t find a better place to relax and enjoy the nature at its finest. We were even allowed to have the fresh strawberries and the herbs directly from the garden. What a privilege to be able to experience such a comfortable stay. All in all a great gateway experience. Five days were too less to spend in such an amazingly beautiful and peaceful place. We would definitely be going there again 😃

Our stay at the End of the Road was the perfect introduction to Slovenia. The house itself is very peaceful, surrounded by forest and wildflowers. It feels remote but easy enough to reach many walks and attractions nearby. We could drive to hikes further away but on more relaxed days we could explore Vošče or walk into Radovljica. Mateja and Miha were very generous, spending time giving us recommendations for hikes and sightseeing. Local maps and guides were in the house on arrival. Mateja provided yoga mats, a really thoughtful touch, it was so relaxing doing yoga in the loft with a view of the trees. We also loved their little dog Leni and the turtles! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Mateja was always responsive to any questions and gave us lots of suggestions to make our stay even better. Highly recommend the End of the Road for anyone else visiting Slovenia and Triglav National Park.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche! Die Lage ist einmalig, die Aussicht und Abgeschiedenheit ein Traum. Wir wissen schon jetzt, dass wir definitiv wieder kommen.

Metka has been a wonderful and kind host in greeting us, making recommendations on places to go and great walks around, anticipating our demands. She has always been responsive in our communications, before and during our stay. The house is very well equipped because it has been lived in by generations, with a soul. Super clean. The location is perfect if one looks for quietness, close enough to the beauties of the lakes but without the crowds and the traffic. It is in a living village with active farming around but no shops or cafés within walking distance. The views on the mountains are stunning (get up early to catch the sunrise !). We can see the road but it is ok. Having a car is a must but 3 bicycles in very good condition are available. We were 4 adults and the house felt very comfortable and at ease. It only has one shower room downstairs (but 1 toilet on each floor) but we managed. My wife enjoyed the piano too ! Lovely time, fond memories. Viva Slovenia !

Die Unterkunft war einfach großartig – sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wunderbar ruhig gelegen. Perfekt zum Entspannen! Trotzdem ist man in ca. 10min (Auto) beim See oder in der Stadt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter, bei denen man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Il posto era meraviglioso, immerso nelle montagne con un bel giardino e tagliaerba motorizzato. L’appartamento aveva qualsiasi utensile da cucina immaginabile (dalle pasticche per la lavastoviglie allo spremi agrumi). È una posizione strategica per chi viene dall’Italia per le maggiori escursioni slovene. L’host è stato gentilissimo e molto disponibile, sempre pronto a risponderci.

Die Unterkunft ist modern und hochwertig eingerichtet - mit Badewanne und Sauna. Die kleine Siebträgermaschine war für uns ein Highlight. Die Lage ist perfekt um die Gegend um die Soça zu erkunden. Uns hat es sehr sehr gut gefallen und wir würden definitiv wieder kommen!

This place was a dream. The view was gorgeous and so peaceful. The place was super cozy and so clean and beautiful. It had everything one could need including fluffy bathrobes! The hot tub was our favorite part. Easy to use and so relaxing. There were other people staying in the other apartment but we still felt like it was very private. Honestly felt like the East side apartment is the best one because of the views. If possible we would totally come here again.

My dog and I stayed in Abyss Adventures ans Apartments for two days and we had a lovely time in this charming place. The view from the terrace of our apartment was absolutely stunning with an overlook of the Julian Alps. Petra was such a friendly hostess too and she gave me some nice directions for amazing hiking trails in the area. I highly recommend this gem of an airbnb and would love to return again.

We only stayed one night, but it was the perfect way to say goodbye to Slovenia. The hosts are incredibly kind and attentive, and the outdoor space is truly amazing. We had a lovely late afternoon by the pool, playing ball with our son, such a special moment. The house stayed pleasantly cool, which was perfect for the hot day we had. Wir waren zu zweit mit unserem Hund für eine Woche bei Frank und Heike. Alles Tip Top. Gegend sehr ruhig trotzdem super Lage für viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Auch Supermarkt schnell erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Da macht kochen auch Spaß 🤩 wir können die Wohnung absolut weiter empfehlen.

angelika ist ne wundervolle gastgeberin. wir wurden bei unserer ankunft zu später stunde mit einer tragbaren laterne romantisch begrüßt und persönlich zur unterkunft geleitet. angelika hat uns super freundlich in empfang genommen, ein begrüßungsgetränk überreicht und aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich alles erklärt, damit wir uns in folge gut zurechtfinden konnten. im garten ist ne wunderschön gestaltete chillout-area - stets bereit für die gäste und ein sehr gepflegter pool. auch die innenräume waren tiptop sauber. und es gab neben einer tipp-übersicht, was man alles in der gegend unternehmen kann, sogar auch noch kleine gastgeschenke am küchentisch für uns. einzig eine kleinigkeit die uns persönlich gestört hat, war die kirche schräg gegenüber - die glocken läuten wirklich oft. aber das ist ja geschmackssache und bezieht sich nur auf die umgebung. davon abgesehen: wärmste empfehlung: schöne, wirklich große unterkunft mit lieben vollblutgastgebern.

Absolutely magic place. Silence and peace. Very beautiful around, you can walk for hours. The forest near the house is full of mushrooms. Paradise for those who want to escape from civilization. Wonderful friendly hosts, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived after midnight after a very long road and Ivanka and her husband waited for us and took us to the house. The house is fairytale, with a wood-burning stove for those who still remember what it is. At the same time, there are all the modern amenities of civilization, Internet, a good shower, a well-equipped kitchen with an induction stove. Ivanka left us a very tasty homemade pie and grapes from her own garden. A week spent in this house was a wonderful vacation for the whole family. Note: this house is not for you if you have problems with steep stairs - two bedrooms are on the second floor, which is reached by a steep stairs. And it is not for you if you are afraid of gravel roads uphill.

Gostitelja sta bila zelo odzivna in prijazna. Do hiške se pride po lepi potki iz stopnic. Čeprav bi prtljago brez problema znosile same, sta nam jo gostitelja z vozičkom dvignila do koče. Sta zelo prilagodljiva, nič vsiljiva in zelo prijazna. Počutile smo se kot doma in uživale v neokrnjeni naravi.

This place is truly the gem of Slovenia. I don't know which I could praise more, the home or the host. The house and surrounding area has everything you could possibly want and Žan, the host, really did a great job with providing guides and giving tips. The nature is exquisite, the air incredibly clean, the water clear and delicious - you feel healthier the moment you step foot here. There was obviously so much thought put into kitting out this home and Žan was an incredibly caring host that was in constant communication with us, ready to help and get us out of binds. Truly a great person to have when in a new country or region. We all loved every moment we spent here. As other guests mentioned the roads up to the house are not for the faint of heart, so please be careful. The beds were also hard on our backs so something to consider for guests with backpain, but with everything being cared for and regularly updated I'm sure the beds will also get an upgrade soon. Truly a 10/10!

Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti in questa splendida baita immersa nella natura, insieme alla mia ragazza Mihaela e al nostro cane, e non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Il posto è silenzioso, circondato dal verde, e la notte si sente il suono rilassante di un ruscello che scorre poco distante – un vero toccasana per chi cerca pace e tranquillità. La posizione è ideale: in soli 30 minuti si arriva a Lubiana, ma è anche perfetta come base per esplorare la parte occidentale della Slovenia. La struttura offre tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole: un’area relax con libri a disposizione, bagno e doccia calda inclusi nel prezzo, e una piccola cucina condivisa ben attrezzata con utensili utilizzabili da tutti. Anche il nostro cane si è sentito subito a casa! Consigliatissima a chi vuole staccare dalla routine e godersi un angolo di paradiso sloveno.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage, it has everything you need, the garden and river next to it have a magical flair and made us feel like in a fairytale! Cannot wait to come back soon :)

Staying in the Velika Planina was a truly unique experience. This cottage was modern, comfortable and equipped with the basics needed to make a stay enjoyable. Rok is an excellent host and is personally invested in helping his guests have a great experience. While we were there before the cattle were moved to these pastures, it was still bucolic, stunning and offered great outdoor activities. We are happy we had this memorable experience.
